Ikea Pressa Washing Bag, Set of 3

Ikea's set of 3 washing bags appear to be a good buy. One is black and the other 2 arewhite; just as pictured. So far...The weave on the 3 Ikea bags are tight compared to a couple washing bags I alreadyown [See Photos]. There is a huge difference between the two bags. I am not a profes-sional clothes cleaner so I have no idea what the advantage might be of one weaveover the other.The bags are made in China and "Imported" from where I do not know; China or Swedenare your choices. They appear to be sturdy and appear to be working. I have not had anyzippers open during machine washing or drying. One note is that I do machine wash ona 'Permanent Press' setting for about 9 minutes using the bags. It might be advised to usea 'Delicates' setting for some of your more delicate items.Overall these are sturdy well-built washing bags that have held up well for the past ninemonths in spite of my abuse by Dryer. 5 Stars because they have held up and are doingfine thank you very much.UPDATE July 2017: These bags are still holding up from repeated washings of the last 2years. They are used, almost every week to wash sensitive items. I'd buy again.

I have tried a great many types of bags for washing lingerie.These are by far the best because they were designed thoughtfully. For example, the zipper does not have a metal pull tag but a loop of heavy cord. A metal zipper pull can get caught in the mesh of other wash bags in the load, and even in its own mesh! The mess is very fine so that bra hooks cannot get caught in the mesh. I have ruined HOW MANY bra hooks (and thus bras) by having the unwind them out of the mesh of a laundry bag? How many wash bags have been ruined by getting caught on bra hooks? Finally, the seams are sewn very sturdily. At the same time I purchased a package of these, I had purchased a package of a brand that another reviewer had said were the best ones around. Nay, not so. The seam on two of those bags came out in the wash the first time I used these. I have used the Ikea bags over and over and not one stitch has come lose. There is great value in the Ikea bags, which is why I am ordering more.

I bought these bags not for clothes, but for soft puppy toys. I have a 16 week old sheltie that has been gifted with many soft toys that needed to be cleaned. These did the trick in the wash, but did come unzipped in the dryer. I think this is due more to what I am drying than the product itself, but am still giving it 4 stars as it should stay zipped. That said, the bags are good sizes.

I needed something simple to protect my knitted caps, undergarments, and to keep small washables in one place and safe.These were inexpensive and I have used them for many items. The closure stayed secure, each bag can hold several items, and the material is soft. So far, there is no fraying or fuzziness.Update: 1/5/17I still think these were worth every penny! I use these often to separate items in my laundry. These are all used at least two times per week. They are excellent for any delicate items. I also use them to isolate items which may have buttons or hooks, which can snag other items of clothing.I will be purchasing another set, not because these are worn, but because I need more than three.

I bought these to wash and dry my baby’s socks in. I was disappointed that when I got the bags, it said that you can’t put them in the dryer. I guess I should have done more research on them instead of assuming that they were dryer safe. If that doesn’t bother you, they are a great size and are very durable. The little loops on the zipper have not come off of mine yet, but I see where it could be a pain to open and close them if it did as many reviewers have mentioned.

Update: I've been using these for about 6 months and all but one bag is broken. The zipper completely fell off the smaller bag and there is a large hole in the seam of one of the larger bags. I was excited about these at first, but I cannot recommend these due to the poor quality.I'm a little sad that I'm so excited about laundry bags, but these are awesome! I use the smallest bag to wash our cloth diaper pail liner and wet bags - they were always retaining a bunch of soapy water at the end of the wash and this was the perfect solution. The larger are perfect for a small/medium couch pillow. I also do a lot of sewing and these are awesome for pre-washing fabric or other clothing that may get caught around other items in the wash (I have a few shirts that always end up wrapping around the rest of the clothing) and these remedy that issue. I didn't realize how much I needed these until I got them. They're good quality fabric and the zipper feels sturdy. I've already recommended these to other people I know. Really great product.
