They work as sand bags. The hazard orange color is nice to have.

Durable and large capacity
The dimensions listed on the product description are accurate at 18” by 30”. I used mine to bag compost, which I didn't weigh for carrying capacity testing, but it was at least 30 pounds per bag with no issues at all. I imagine 50 pounds would be just fine for the bag (just not on my wee little arms!) I like that it is UV resistant, which means if I leave them outside I don't need to worry so much about the degradation of the bag. Woven polypropylene material, and seems very durable and leak-proof. The price per count is about $1.60/bag, which seems like a great price for such a quality sandbag. Will definitely be picking this up again should I need more bags for my compost!

Good Value
I ordered the 10-pack of 18x30 white woven polypropylene sandbags. I like that they are 50 lb. capacity and that they each come with their own tie strings attached. They are not super thick but they work just fine for my purposes. I didn't completely fill them because it is difficult for me to move a 50 lb. bag around. I live at the beach and experience occasional tidal flooding. I haven't experienced a major flood event yet this year but they have worked to keep flood waters out of my driveway with minor flooding. At about $1.60 each at the time of writing this review, I think they are a good value.

Durable
These sandbags are holding up great. They can even be used as bags themselves in a pinch. They're made of a tough nylon fabric, with a weave going in two direction. One bag, my cats have been using as a "scratching post" (not because I want them to, but because they're cats, hah) and it's held up to over a month of abuse.

Thick and sturdy
These sand bags are made of a very thick and sturdy material that feels like it will resist abrasion and punctures. Thankfully I have not had to use them yet, but I trust they will do the job when needed.

Good to have on hand
While I don't live in a flood-prone area, I do have a flood-prone paved area on the side of my house. Whenever we get a lot of rain, the water pools up in that space. I have gotten a pump to remove the water from around our side door, and I have tried out several different brands of sandbags. These large orange sandbags from DURASACK hold 50 pounds of sand or dirt. The ones I have tried before only held five pounds. The opening is large and easy to fill with material from a shovel. They seem very sturdy, even when being lifted and moved around while full and weighing 50 pounds.I was able to set up a couple of the sandbags to divert the rainwater away from my side door. In my previous experience, polypropylene items don't last very long in our harsh desert sun. However, these are rated with 1600 hours of UV protection. That gives me some time before they break down and need to be replaced. At the current price point, these are a good value for a pack of ten.

High vis is nice
Not much to say, sand bags are sand bags. These work as intended, no rips or tears. I decided to give it a review because I appreciate the fact they are bright orange, easier to see. Sometimes it's the about the little things.

Large & durable.
These DURASACK Large Heavy Duty Sand Bags open up to quite a big size – 18” by 30”, ready to fill with your own sand. They come with strings that are attached on one side; they’re not drawstrings, but you can tie them around the top after the bags are filled. The woven polypropylene is quite strong and doesn’t tear easily. Some of the stitching seemed a bit messy on the ends, but they work okay. Good to have on hand for storm prep. They could be used for other purposes like storage or even a gift bag for a heavy tool or bulky item.
