SPI Home 50556 Seahorse Lantern

When I received my seahorse the votive cup insert was broken. Bad packaging. I like the seahorse but it does not stand alone like it says in the info. You have to hang it. The bottom is not flat.

Bought two of these to hang in the corner of a guest bedroom.They actually appear a little different in person having more of that green aged color look like copper does on them.And they did not come with the chain but did come with an S shaped hook each. Mine did not have the same hooks exactly because one was thinner and bigger then the other and one was shorter and thicker but the horses were exactly the same. I wasn't happy about the hooks being different but you can easily find chain for it at any lowes or home depot store for cheap.I decided to take mine and spray paint them gold but I think I may change them to a pretty aqua blue or some other pretty color. I think they are adorable and painting them even the color silver or white would make them that much more adorable.Maybe even getting a couple and painting them all differently but colors that go well with each other would be cute. especially if you like to decorate and love seahorses so why don't you give these cute little guys a place in your home?! maybe ill post pics of them later so you can see them painted and if you buy these and paint them yourself Im sure others would like you to share your pictures too.

As pictured, and I love the whimsy of it. Would love it 10 times more if it were about 30% larger. Check the dimensions- it's pretty small, but it is essentially a lovely votive holder. Well made, but 4 stars because one tiny tweak would have made this versatile- it must be hung. A slight change in the placement of the bottom curve would have allowed for it to balance upright or hang. As it is, it sits at a sharp angle if not hanging- I've made a little base for mine and it works. Really cute idea- I'd love a cluster of these in various sizes.

Much smaller than I realized it would be but it is neat and unusual which is what I wanted. Nicely made.

I bought this votive holder for my daughter for Easter. She was thrilled. It is unique and very well made. I got two more for others.

Great piece! Well made and looks great at a good price. Interesting addition to my eclectic home. Can pass for nautical or Oriental.

Much larger than it appears in the photo. Very unique piece and my wife loves it.
