Bought this to replace an older version and very happy with my purchase, good sound and picture quality, very easy to set up and use. Good quality and can be very useful to have in the house to answer questions, play music and games, set timers and many more.

Brilliant and easy to set up. Brilliant camera and great for uploading photos onto. Sound quality is great when listening to music. Alarms and reminders are easy to set. Well worth the money.

Great for photo slide show and all the normal Alexa functionality. Shame it uses a proprietary power lead and not USB C. The lack of an audio jack socket is also annoying as I wanted to connect it to an older amplifier which does not have Bluetooth built-in, that said the sound d from the internal speaker is pretty good.

I bought this specifically to display Live View for my Ring doorbell. With a little help from a YouTube video I linked Alexa to Ring and the thing works like a dream: when the doorbell is pressed, I get a full screen view of who is in front of the camera. On my setup, it happens within a couple of seconds.I have shuttered the camera on the Show for privacy, and I have switched off the microphone for the same reason. It's easy to turn the microphone on with a switch at the top if I want to use the Alexa feature. That seems to work too but I doubt I will use it that often. The sound quality is very good so asking Alexa to play music might be a future use for me.Overall, I am very happy so far. Oh, I also bought one of the stands for it. Again, that works well.

I traded in my Echo Show 8 2nd gen for the Echo Show 3rd gen & am NOT regretting my decision.The picture clarity & quality is much improved & the sound is very impressive ; crank up the sound while streaming Prime Music & it's substantial enough for you to wind up grumpy neighbours if you feel that way inclined 😬🤔🤣My kitchen is south-facing & I often struggled to see the screen whilst cooking or washing the dishes when streaming Prime Video on my previous Echo Show 8 during daylight, but that problem is now a distant memory with this 3rd gen model. Vast improvement.Shame we still can't add other streaming Apps, like iPlayer, U, Disney Plus, or Virgin Go ; I'd like to see this possible on future generations of the echo show.Would I recommend it ? Yes... Unless you are loaded, have a massive kitchen & can afford a huge 8K Sony Smart TV 😬🤔🤣🥰

I never thought having a screen in the kitchen would make a difference but it does. As a speaker alone, it’s pretty impressive. At full volume it sounds better and louder than it has any right being. This tiny sub woofer packs a punch. The screen itself is bright and clear for the price point and fairly quick at responding. There are limited apps like prime video, music, clock, calendar, picture frame, etc, but any streaming service can be accessed via the web browser which is incredibly quick and responsive for watching iPlayer and the rest. It was a long wire so can be moved around depending on where you need the screen.I thought this would be an eyesore but the picture frame mode helps it blend away (with your own pictures or presets like travel and nature), and the pictures brighten up the room. It also has a camera for checking in when I’m not there (a simple slide hides the camera). I’ve owned a fair number of Amazon products but this is so far my favourite. Interested to see where this range goes. Upgraded from an echo dot and this was easy to set up.

Excellent device. Worth £150, so massive bonus when it’s cheaper (currently £95). This replaced the previous version which had a compatibility problem with my internet. Most noticeable improvement is sound quality which is excellent for such a small device.
