If I had seen this in an ad, I would have thought it was a bunch of baloney. Most “miracle creams” do nothing. But after reconstructive surgery, my plastic surgeon recommended this. My scars flattened out and are barely noticeable. It does take a little while to dry, and is sticky until it dries, but that is a small thing compared to how well it works.

OK for the price but get Silagen instead if you can afford it. My first experience with 100% silicone gel for scars was after some plastic surgery and the surgeon's office gave me some gel made by Silagen. Once I finished that bottle I decided to try this brand because of the price and I'm somewhat disappointed. You get a lot more gel for the money but it leaves a visible greasy, sticky residue after you apply it. The Silagen gel gets absorbed and leaves the skin dry. So as soon as I've finished this product I'm going back to Silagen because this gel is visible to myself and others when it's on my face. Also, the product is made in the People's Republic of China so it makes one wonder about the purity of the product and if it's really 100% real silicone gel. There is no scent and it's easy enough to use. It's also a bit thinner and runnier than the Silagen product. It seems to be as effective as Silagen so far, but I've only applied this product once, so take that observation with a grain of salt.

I think it’s made a difference

Silicone clear scar gel seems to be minimizing my surgery scar with no skin irritation. Easy to use and moisturizes as well. Highly recommend.
