Solved two problem. Wireless connectivity and stronger charging.
I have the Motorola MA1 dongle in one car. So to avoid conflict, I purchased this AAAwireless 2, dongle for the other car.Just like the Motorola, this AAAWireless device was easy to connect to the bluetooth in my vehicles. What does it do? The same thing the Motorola does! It brings Android Auto to the screen without having to use cables from the phone to the entertainment center. Is that important? Absolutely, not, because connecting a cable takes two seconds and you get the same results. Why then did I buy them? A. I have an older phone which does NOT keep a charge as long as it used to. So when I directly connected to the car's USB, which is the same port, for Android Auto, the phone would NOT get much of a charge during that connection. So it barely had more charge after I finished the drive.By offloading the Android Auto connectivity to these dongles, AAAwireless in car A; Moto MA1 in car B; I could then charge the phone using the cigarette lighter high powered USB connection directly into the phone. After a decent drive the phone would be charged fully!Bottomline-I purchased these dongles, not because I'm too lazy just to connect the cable. I wanted my phone to charge up faster using a cigarette lighter USB adapter. By offloading the Android Auto functions to these dongles instead, I could then use my phone's usb connector, to charge the phone from the cigarette lighter high powered usb adapter.

Much better than the Motorola MA1
After burning through several Motorola MA1's (apparently this is an issue with them as they run warm) because this was the only reliable option for a while, I decided to try something new. I did too much research, and ultimately came out with a simple, reportedly-reliable, AndroidAuto-only option... this AAWireless dongle. For reference, I installed this in my 2019 Mercedes GLS, which was this model's last production year without wireless AndroidAuto. I followed the instructions provided by AAWireless. The dongle booted up quickly, and I was able to pair my Pixel phone with it seamlessly. Communication and stable connection between the Mercedes infotainment system and the AAW dongle was not seamless and required several attempts to establish on the initial contact... though this is relatively common on some complex infotainment systems. After the third attempt, the stable connection was achieved. Reconnection has been instant and seamless ever since. In my experience, as I also own a newer Mercedes and BMW, the connection is as reliable as my newer Mercedes, and better than my wife's BMW... both of which have factory installed, wireless-capable AndroidAuto infotainment systems. So, long story short...I like itIt works well.I'd buy it again, and I'd recommend it.

This is a fantastic little device! I love it.
I've been using the AAWireless Two for just over two months now. In January I purchased a 2024 Toyota Camry, and it's infotainment console supports Android auto, but only wired. This device solves that by making that functionality wireless. This device has been perfect for the last two months too. After setting it up it has worked flawlessly. It just works. You turn on your car, and in about 10 or so seconds Android auto activates and your phone is connected. It has worked every time. I was able to add my wife's phone too. If you both of your phones are near the car, it will connect to the last connected phone first. Which is nice. Just make sure your phone isn't near the car if the second person and their phone is going to be using the car. Pressing the button on the device does switch devices, but I found that aspect to be a little finicky. Easier to just let it connect to the second phone while your phone is out of range. I drive this car 99% of the time, so I almost always want it to connect to my phone regardless. But again, if both of the registered phones are in the car, the AAWireless Two will connect to the last device it was connected to.I found it pretty easy to set up. Downloading the companion app on to your phone makes using this a breeze. Updating it has been just as easy.I bought some velcro dots and stuck it on the AAWireless Two so that it sticks to my car near the USB port. The button on the device turns blue once it is connected to your phone. For anyone wondering, when it is dark, the light isn't bright and not distracting at all.Overall I love the AAWireless Two. It was easy to set up, and has worked flawlessly ever since. It just works. You can just forget about it, and get the added convenience of wireless Android Auto in your car.I really do love this thing and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for this particular solution to a "wired" only car. Thanks for reading my review!

Cured a wired glitch that made me want to punch my display several times during my daily commute!
My new car did not have wireless Android Auto. So I had to plug in my phone every time I went somewhere. That was bad. But what was worse is the connection would drop out at certain points along my daily commute. The only way to get it back was to unplug/replug it. How many times did I want to just punch my display...I had read about the wireless adapters but figured it would still drop out due to cell signals or whatever was causing it. When the AAW II went on sale at 20% off I decided to try one. My display is now safe! The wireless adapter works great! The worst I will notice is a slight 'skip' in the music at those same trouble spots in my commute. Always keeps on playing. If something happens to the adapter I will immediately buy another - on sale or not!
