The Reluctant Designer's Field Guide to PowerPoint

Beautifully designed and eye opening for Adobe designers being cajoled into working in PowerPoint
This is unlike any other book on PowerPoint I have bought. It's a unique insight into the pains of an Adobe designer, wondering what on earth to do with this quaint presentation "design" app. I've never been important/rich enough to use Adobe CC so this is a real eye opener and a smorgasbord of "What you get" on both sides of the fence. This is going to be a great addition to my book shelf which I can and dive into when trying to understand the pitfalls of designing decks in PowerPoint. Oh, and the tone of the copy is witty and charming. Last but not least, the character illustrations are to die for (please don't). Lovely job Stephy.

Easy read, valuable info, a MUST for all sorts of designers!
Half way through this book so far and loving it! It's so easy to read through. It's intended to help designers used to Adobe Creative suite translate what they might already know into the things PowerPoint can do - it does such a great job of this. But, I'm a designer who's only ever used PowerPoint for my work and have always been intimidated by Adobe apps - this book is making me realize there's lots of commonalities and just generally making all of these design apps feel more approachable. So, this book is great for designers of all sorts, from whichever angle you're coming at it.

Poor designers....so much skill and potential.....make my powerpoint not suck....
So when you are a designer. You have so much love and awesome to design to give....but you're always plagued with requests to "clean up this powerpoint"....if that's you, Stephy helps it not suck so bad. Great work Stephy!!!
