I used these as party favors for a baby shower for a girl in my book club . They were perfect for the occasion. Nice set.

Quality observations
The concept is great but the pads are very small and they were just tossed into a package box loosely so a lot of the top sheets were bent. The pens are fun but make sure each one writes ok. I checked all of mine and they did write black ink but some of the pens had a red film that needed to be removed. All in all I can make them all work and these are minor observations the seller and buyer should be aware of.

They're ok
I found these pens and pads to be OK for my needs. The price was extremely reasonable for the basic quality you get out of these. While they are not impressive in terms of quality, they are decent enough for gift giving to my passengers.
