Adopt a cuddly fossil friend today with Paleozoic Pals from the Paleontological Research Institution. The Paleozoic is the era before dinosaurs, during which animal life first diversified in the seas, and eventually came ashore to become land vertebrates. Great for fossil-lovers of all ages, this soft trilobite is 8" long and ready to snuggle up to you! Trilobites crawled along the bottom of shallow seas for around 300 million years, from the beginning of the Cambrian Period to the end of the Permian Period. The name “trilobite” means “three lobes.” They were an ancient kind of arthropod, the group that includes insects, spiders, and crustaceans.

Smaller than expected
small, 6 or 7 inches long. pretty hard, good for giving hugs too, you won't compress all the stuffing, but cheaper on their website (not sure about shipping, no shipping, its $12 there as of july 2021 but shipping calculated at checkout it says.

Cute little guy, I like him a lot
I got this little guy because I love stuffed animals and I love geology. He is very cute and has provided me with much happiness. He is not quite as squishy as I had hoped but I suppose real life trilobites aren't too squishy either. I named mine Brian after my uncle Brian (who discovered a new kind of trilobite) and after Brian May, the guitarist of Queen. Overall, he is a nice little companion and I would recommend purchasing him.

Bought this for my boyfriend. Trilobites are his favorite fossil. Every budding paleontologist should have a snuggle fossil.
