Everything was fine but the screws provided don't fit the already installed latch. Using the originals you took out is not an option either as this latch is just a hair wider so you barely get one thread to catch. So you will need to find better/larger/wider screws to use. If you keep that in mind it does work great as a replacement.

The pictures on the ads for the left hand (LH) and right hand (RH) variants of this product are crossed up (exchanged), so we (the customers) buy the wrong variant, send it back and then order the correct one. Could someone correct this?The product is perfect with the exception of the screws. The manufacturer includes the correct quantity of screws, but the screws are the wrong head type. They include six screws with phillips countersink head. The product should be installed using phillips round-pan head screws.It’s strange that they can produce such a high quality product, and then have no idea which picture is of which variant, and have no idea what hardware should be used to install it.Attention to detail PLEASE!
