Heavy duty, great quality
This lock is awesome, you may want to change the lock itself. The lock seems a little flimsy but definitely does the job. The chain itself makes this worth the money

Thing is huge.
Big ole deterrent, match it up with another lock and make thieving difficult and time consuming.

Heavy duty
So far it's been a good chain and lock. I think just the sight of it deters would be theives. It's very durable, and good length that I can lock up to almost any bike rack or post. Really heavy but good secuity.

Chain Reaction
Just received today. Happy with the cloth encased chain size, may need to get a better lock. On balance, it will serve its purpose.

Very strong and secure
This system coupled with a movement alarm is a perfect security mechanism

Cheap, shoddy lock, bad welding.
I seldom leave bad reviews but feel it's important here. This is crap. The body of the lock is made either from plastic or from some really cheap pot metal. I can't imagine it surviving one blow with a hammer, and the key action is sticky and unreliable. The chain is heavy, but the welding of the links is extremely crude, which leads me to think that the steel is of low quality here, too, but I can't tell for sure.A clue that I should have paid more attention to: there are other identical products sold under different names on Amazon, also very inexpensive. No matter the product, that'a usually a predictor of generic low-quality items.

Does the trick
Punk tried to steal my bike tow nights in a row. First night hollowed out my ignition. Second night came back with large bolt cutters which failed. Caught him in the act and chased him down the street. Was buck naked when it happened otherwise I would post a pic. Thief didnt come back after a naked tattooed red neck chased him off.
