I find the dust and dirt was picked up and held in this duster. I bought the kind for pets, and the strips on it, look a little different, but I was willing to give it a try. Glad I did! It would've taken me much longer to dust this with a regular cloth and dusting spray. I am impressed by this product. Also worked on my blinds.
