GaahleriAirbrush Kit, Ambition Series GTS-06, Airbrush & Air Compressor with Air Control

I'll admit, I was a bit skeptical but I'm 100% won over.I use this for scale model airbrushing and I've used traditional compressor in the past for my work. I wanted to go a smaller/simpler/quieter route, and this was exactly what I was looking for. In fact, it exceeded my expectations. It is soo quiet I don't bother anyone with my late night hobbies any longer.As a compressor, it works great, quiet and takes up very little space on the desk. It is about the size of a paperback book! Easy to understand, use and control. I only needed the manual to be sure I understood which button turned the thing on.The airbrush is decent but, from my perspective it was a throw-in, so if it worked at all it was a win. I would have bought the compressor for the same price without the airbrush and been just as happy. I would say it is a fine beginner/intermediate airbrush that would be in the $30 range on its own.For my work so far it does exactly what you would expect and if you are just getting into airbrushing, this is an amazing value for a very high quality product.

This is my very first airbrush, and I couldn’t be happier with the Gaahleri Ambition GTS-06 kit. I’ve been using it since April, and it’s been an amazing experience from the start. The airbrush feels solid and high quality, and the compressor runs quietly and smoothly.The control is very intuitive, even for someone new like me. The adjustable airflow makes it easy to get smooth gradients and fine details, and cleaning the airbrush is simple — which is a huge plus for beginners.I’ve attached some photos of my recent paint jobs using this kit, and I’m really proud of the results. Whether you're just starting or looking for a reliable setup, this kit delivers excellent performance and quality for the price. Highly recommended!

As good as it gets at this price point.Very easy to setup and use and comes with a couple of nice accessories.The compressor is fantastic, good pressure with no leakages, quiet, very portable and light.The airbrush is pretty good too, it's clearly a budget airbrush but it's solid.

Would a professional airbrush artist think this was an awesome compressor and airbrush? I think not.For me, someone who is returning to scale modeling after a decades long absence, it's simply amazing. I can already feel myself growing out of the basic airbrush, but compressor is just holding it's own. It's small. It's quiet, and it's quite functional.Will I one day get a "real" compressor, with a tank and all that jazz? Maybe, it sort of depends on how this one goes, but I've had it for a few weeks and it's been treating me well so far.I do wish the selection of accessories available in the Gaahleri store was a little better, I'd like a pinch needle cap, but that only seems available from their web site, and it seems silly to go there an buy a part that will cost it's own price in shipping to get to me.

First the compressor, it works super well, everything fits, no air leaks, the pressure control is intuitive, and it has enough power for mini painting.As for the airbrush, it's very easy to use, the adjustment is easy to do, and it's easy to clean as well, although, be careful, the nozzle is VERY easy to lose because it's tiny and not screwed, which may cause you losing it, also, there's videos on youtube on how to use the kit and clean the airbrush, I highly recommend you watch those as well as reading the manual, you'll enjoy the process a lot more if you know what you are doing!The gripes: It's going to be difficult finding parts to repair the airbrush because it looks like they are out of stock here on Amazon (as for the time I'm writing this review), and on their website which is a shame, the airbrush is super cool but I will have to be super extra careful with it or I'll lose it forever. It would have been cool to have a couple of extras in the package, just to be nice, this is meant to be a starter kit, and breaking stuff is part of learning... anyway, I hope I don't kill it soon!

I'm just a hobby model maker, mainly scale model aircraft, and this kit ticked all the boxes for me. It is quiet and sits on my modelling bench taking up very little space. The ease of changing pressures for whichever task I'm doing, from fine preshading to large areas is great. I am looking to add a second airbrush (a Gaahleri Mobius 2.0) in the future to make the kit even more flexible. I had an issue with the compressor and contacted Gaahleri support who resolved the issue very quickly. I would highly recommend this airbrush kit and Gaahleri is a company I would buy from again. I've added a photo of the results I got while building only my 2nd ever scale model. I'm very happy with the results.

Best airbrush machine, no complication and easy to use. No clogging and lightweight. Comes with all wiring needed. Machine feels super durable and long lasting. Highly recommend!

Purchased this for the advertised decibel levels between 20-37 dB. My room with no appliances on is 27dB alone so I assumed the listed 20 dB was an exaggeration.However this thing runs at an average 51.7 dB at the lowest PSI and almost 60 at max PSI. A far cry from 37 on the listing. Plus the pulsing compression is actually more irritating than a steady flow.
