No More Leaky Tubes
I've used a lot of diaper rash creams and ointments over the years as I have many children. Now, I have grandchildren, and a great grandbaby, too. Many, many times I've had to clean up messes from leaking tubes. It isn't fun. If I was able to get individually packaged amounts of the cream or ointment years ago, I would have opted for that versus the tubes. Of course, once I saw these, I had to have them. No more leaky, messy tubes for me.I have used A & D ointments in the past. I prefer it over the competition as it doesn't smell as bad, and it does have nutrients which are good for the skin. It also cleans off the skin easier than others. Plus it is just as effective. All those combined make this my preferred choice in diaper ointment. Of course these aren't just for diaper rash.It is so much easier to just grab a couple of packets to put in a diaper bag, tote, or my purse. I don't have to carry around a large tube, which, of course, could and usually does leak. It's so nice not to have to worry about cleaning up a mess. Plus the ointment stays more sanitary and clean by not being exposed to the air or touch frequently.Overall, I'm very pleased with these A&D packets. They are convenient, plus I really prefer A&D over the others. The value is good considering all the packets.

Not vegan, contains lanolin but I will use it up to protect my tools
I got a box of Vitamins A & D ointment, labeled as a diaper rash ointment and skin protectant, with 144 packets, each containing 5 grams. On the box, I read it’s manufactured for Dealmed in Brooklyn, NY with its website and that it’s made in Mexico. The drug facts list the active ingredient in each gram as white petrolatum, USP, 93% w/w, and its purpose is a skin protectant. I read it’s used to help treat and prevent diaper rash, temporarily protect minor cuts, scrapes, and burns, help protect and relieve chapped or cracked skin or lips, and prevent and protect from the drying effects of wind and cold weather, as well as chafed skin or minor irritations from diaper rash. It’s for external use only, and I shouldn’t use it on deep or puncture wounds, animal bites, or serious burns. Under other information, I read that I should store it at a controlled room temperature of 15°-30°C (69°-86°F) and avoid excessive heat and humidity.I overlooked that among the inactive ingredients is lanolin, which is not vegan. Since I'm vegan and the odor is off-putting to me, i can't use it on myself. As I already have it, I will use it up and mostly to protect my tools from corrosion. It works for that purpose and stays clear. The other inactive ingredients are light liquid paraffin, vitamin A, and vitamin D. On the bottom of the box, I found a sticker with the lot number, the manufacturing date of 2024-09-11, and the expiration date of 2027-09-11 in year-month-day format. The individual 5-gram packets also have the expiration date printed on them. On the packets, the drug facts only list the active ingredient, white petrolatum, USP 93% w/w, and near the bottom, I see again the manufacturer’s website and that it’s made in Mexico.

A&D not just for diaper rash!
I generally avoid single-use items, but I have decided to embrace individual packets for my first aid kits and travel bags. The packets are convenient for transport and ease my worries about carrying bulky items. Each packet contains more than enough ointment for a single use, allowing for a gentle squeeze to dispense the product. This versatile ointment protects against rashes and soothes dry hands, making it a reliable companion that is gentle on the skin.Years ago, I used A&D Ointment for my baby, and it quickly became my go-to product. I later discovered that it is effective for more than just diaper rash. Since then, it has been a staple in my home and first aid kit. Its gentle formulation prevents and soothes diaper rash while moisturizing delicate skin. The ointment is thick and hydrating, creating a barrier against moisture, and its non-greasy nature ensures there is no sticky residue. With 144 packets in a box, each provides easy application of the ointment for various needs. Vitamins A and D, essential for skin care, help nourish even the most sensitive skin. These ointment packets are perfect for keeping in the car, during travel, at work, or in your "Mary Poppins" bag. They are easy to open and apply, providing lasting relief for different skin issues. The ointment is scent-free and colorless, giving it a pure and comforting feel. However, it can feel a bit heavy if applied too thickly, so it's best to use a thin layer. Overall, this ointment is a reliable and affordable choice choice.

Effective diaper rash cream in convenient pouches.
Having diaper rash cream packaged in small pouches to take on the go is so convenient. I've actually put a little cream in small baggies in the past to not have to take the whole tube, so this product solves that problem. In my experience, diaper cream can also have levels of messiness that can be difficult to clean or wipe off your fingers, and fortunately this cream doesn't have that issue. It wipes off easily, which is also convenient while you're out. And, of course, none of this matters if the cream isn't effective, but my son's rash disappears in hours or the next day. I like this product, and I'll certainly get it again if needed.
