Amazing drone, Air3s plugs the gap between the mini pro series and much more expensive setups, I opted for the fly-more combo, the extra expense over the mini series is of course subjective depending on individual needs but I thought the extra cost was worth it for the stability in windier conditions, higher altitude limits and extra camera zoom.

This item was delivered as promised on schedule. Although I bought it as a package damaged item and was cheaper than the normal selling price, the product was and still is in good working order. I am very pleased with the product.

So much fun to own and fly. Got this a couple months ago and now take it everywhere with me, so good for travel and exploring new places. Love all the different modes to help making capturing photos and videos super easy. Battery’s last around 35-40 mins and are quickly recharged.

Amazing drone very well made and intuitive with easy set up

This is my first ‘proper’ drone and I love it. It’s so easy to fly and has some superb, intelligent features. Stability in moderate winds is excellent. The camera quality is cinematic and having the spare batteries means never running out of flight time. I bought this to survey roofs without damaging the roofs or losing the drone and this works flawlessly. The camera images are exceptional and professional. I bought it for work and took it with me to a recent trip to Scotland. I had so much fun flying it across the Northern end of Loch Ness (nothing to report here) and the stunning Loch Lomond. The video sequences are superb. If you’re interested in serious drone flying then start with this and never look back.

Stunning piece of kit. So intuitive. It's a big boy 767g with the battery in but this is a plus as wond that would make my Potensic Atom very unhappy doesn't bother the aair 3S. The controller screen is crystal clear and stuffed with options. Touch screen. If you're even considering getting the Air 3S, go for.it but get the Fly More Combo. Batteries charge individually so be aware of that. Get a 65W charger unit for the battery charger. Took it out for its first flight last night and loved it. The cost disappears as you realise the ease of use, the quality of the build and software and just what this unit is capable of. I have both a Flyer ID and Operator ID already. Go for it. You'll love it.

This one of (if not) the best DJI drones you could buy. It might be one of the best drones in general to buy. The dual lens option makes possibilities endless. The omnidirectional sensors are awesome. I’ve tested them out in almost full dark environments, and it worked great. No issues found. Only when it gets really dark the tracking etc won’t work anymore, because the sensors can’t see. But apart from that, it’s so good. I love this drone more than I loved my Avata 2, and I loved that drone very much!

I've had my Air 3S for a while now and flown it pretty extensively. Every time I take this thing up I still find myself saying wow. I've been flying drones for about a year and a half and have quite a collection at this point. Mini 5 Pro, Avata 2, Avata 360, SkyRover X1, Neo, Cetus X and a few others. They're all fun to fly and they're all good at different things, but the Air 3S is the one I grab when photography is the priority. I've used it for real estate photography, including photographing Airbnbs along the coast in Maui, as well as coastlines, mountains, forests, cars and just about anything else I find interesting. The camera is a noticeable step up from what I'm used to on my smaller drones, and the three-axis gimbal is a big part of it. I can be maneuvering the aircraft and the camera just stays planted. If I want more movement in the shot I can change the settings and get some of that back, but most of the time I bought this drone because I want smooth, stable footage. One of the things I've learned as I've gotten more into drones is that there's a difference between flying a drone and using one as a camera platform. When I first started, most of my attention was on flying. Where's the drone, what am I flying around, can I get through there, that kind of thing. With the Air 3S I find myself thinking much more about the camera. Where do I want the camera? What's the light doing? What shot am I trying to get? That's really where this drone shines for me. For still photography I normally take everything straight into Adobe Lightroom Classic. With video I'll either go directly into DaVinci Resolve or sometimes do a first pass through DJI Studio and then finish it in Resolve. I also use CPL and ND filters depending on what I'm shooting. You certainly don't need all of that to fly this drone, but as you get more interested in what the camera can actually do, that's where some of the extra equipment and post production starts becoming part of the process. I would definitely recommend the Fly More Combo. I always show up with all three batteries charged. Always. If I owned six I'd probably bring six, but that's more about having backups than actually needing them. I normally bring the drone home with around 25% battery remaining rather than trying to squeeze every last minute out of it, and I can easily get a half hour of flying that way. For an actual photo shoot, one battery is usually plenty. By the time I get there I already know what shots I'm looking for. I'm not spending an hour flying around trying to figure out what I want to photograph. I put the drone up, get into position, take the shots I came for plus a few extras, and I'm usually back on the ground in 15 or 20 minutes. Where those three batteries really become valuable is when you're learning, practicing or experimenting. That's when you want as much flying time as you can get. The batteries aren't cheap either, so I'd rather get the three from the beginning. Compared with my smaller drones, the Air 3S feels like a completely different aircraft. It's bigger, heavier, extremely stable and just an absolute dream to fly. I've flown it enough now that the novelty should probably have worn off, but it hasn't. The combo I bought came with the RC-N3, but I normally fly with an RC 2 that I already owned. That's a personal preference and definitely not something you need to go out and buy to use the Air 3S. One thing I like about being in the DJI ecosystem is that I can use controllers I already own across several of my DJI drones, although there are compatibility limitations depending on the drone. The main reason I prefer my RC 2 is because I fly with XREAL glasses. Unless I'm flying FPV, this has pretty much become my normal way of flying. Looking through the glasses is more like looking at a large-screen TV instead of trying to pick details out on a little controller or phone screen. I can see considerably more detail and find it much easier to judge where the drone is in relation to trees and other obstacles. Again, none of this is necessary equipment for the Air 3S. It's just where my setup has evolved after flying for a while. Is the Air 3S as much fun to fly around as my FPV drones? No, it's not, but that's not what I bought it for. It's just a different style of flying. If I want to have fun zipping in and out of places, I'll grab one of my Minis or an FPV drone. For production work I primarily use two drones, my Air 3S and my 360 drone. The 360 is great when I want cinematic shots where I can capture everything in one pass and decide on the view afterward. But when photography or straight cinematographic quality is the priority, I grab the Air 3S. That's really where I've landed with this drone. It's fun to fly, but more importantly it's become a tool. The flying gets the camera where I need it, and the camera is really the workhorse. If I could only keep two drones for production work, the Air 3S would absolutely be one of them. After all the time I've spent with it, I still take it up and say wow.
