Hi, no, it is 100% natural Himalayan Salt

Q: Can anyone who has bought this say if the water turns pink if you dilute it in water. Want to be sure its real?

The changing of the water colour is from leftover residue in the Salt, this residue (often dark red/pink) comes from insoluble minerals, namely iron and silica, from the Salt. Although some of these minerals don't fully dissolve in the water, they are bio-available (your body can absorb & use). This has no bearing on whether it is real or not

Q: Is it safe to use when canning?

I'm no pro, but it's unrefined, without additives, has no anti caking agents added and isn't packed with iodine like table salt, so is safe to use, but when it comes to volume and time to dissolve you may need to be wary as pickling salt grains are a very different, being very small and uniform and so dissolve very quickly, whereas Himalayan rock salt are larger and take longer to dissolve.
