Great quality, no bleed through
This sketchbook held up really well to the use of acrylic paint markers with no issue.I imagine you can use a variety of mediums on the pages and it will stand up. The paper is smooth and seems to be a pretty good quality.I really like this sketchbook. I haven't used it yet with watercolor, however I will update my review after testing it out to see how it goes.I would get this sketchbook again. If anything changes, I will absolutely update my review.

A Little Lite for Mixed Media Work, but Still Serviceable
Acid free perforated 98lb paper is good for finished artwork. Although, I prefer a little more weight for some of the media this sketchbook claims to be "ideal" for. Haven't had any trouble yet, it's just a personal preference. All-in-all, a good mixed media sketchbook. A bonus is the thick front and back covers, doing away with the necessity for a bulky backboard when doing plein air sketching.

New to Watercolor.
I'm new to the world of watercolors, but I like how the Crehatos paper responds. I did remove the sheets before using the tablet. My goal was to have fun making blobs into little ghosts and that was mission accomplished. I used watercolor and fine black marker to give them definition and eyes. I let the watercolor dry completely before I added the marker and it was great. The paper dried flat and didn't wrinkle after getting wet. It didn't draw up or curl at the corners. If I sketched on the go, this covers on this are nice and thick to create a nice sturdy board for you to work on. I for sure would gift this to my artistically inclined nibling and I'm positive she would love to sketch in it. It's a great price for 60 sheets. I'll be checking in with Crehatos when I need a replacement pad. Will purchase again!

Good Quality Paper
This feels like more than a sketchpad. The hardcover keeps the pages flat, and the circle binder is large enough to easily flip. The quality of the paper is impressive! It stands up to watercolors and the more unforgiving watercolor pencils. No bleed through. This is a great gift for the artist in your life. Very impressive, especially for the price!

Good Quality
This is a good solid sketchbook. Only issue is that it has 60 sheets, I would have liked if it had a 100 instead. The paper is of good quality and as the description indicates, mixed media can be used with it. I tried dry media: graphite and charcoal and wet media: ink and markers with no issues. No bleeding or seeing through the back of the pageI love the top spiral bound because it makes it so easy to flip quickly if working outside or at studio in school and also it adds more support to the padding of the sketchbook, which is already nice due to having hardcover covers. In addition, the Micro-perforated Paper is nice to have, just in case if pages need to be teared off the sketchbook. Overall, a good sketchbook for day-to-day sketching.

Great for Acrylic Markers
I like to draw furniture designs in acrylic markers in my sketchbook. The problem I usually have is that the ink bleeds through to the next page. So far I haven't had any such issue with this 98lb paper. Some have said it feels thinner than 98lb, but it seems about right to me. I like the spiral binding on the book and the absolutely wonderful price.

Doesn't handle wet media well
This Crehatos Mixed Media pad has a generous 60 sheets and I LOVE the hard back and cover binding which gives plenty of support without having to carry around a separate board and the paper seems thick enough at 98 lbs which is the same thickness as my name brand mixed media paper but this just doesn't perform similarly with wet media. You can see where I sampled watercolor, Derwent Inktense pencils (water activated), oil pastel, creatacolor pencils and acrylic paint on gesso base. The watercolor (no added gesso underneath) instantly buckled the paper down through to the second page and it stayed buckled after dry. In addition, the watercolor and inktense colors do not appear as vibrant as with my name brand mixed media paper. For the price this pad is fine with dry media like colored pencils and oil pastels but not recommended for wet media.

Great quality thick paper
Haven’t used it just yet but I went to art school so am pretty familiar with different paper weights for art. This is a great quality thickness and should give no issues with bleeding. I am excited to use it. It’s a good size as well.
