I run on a trail everyday. I use Salomon Sense ride 5s almost everyday. These are a better run shoe for slick or muddy running surfaces. Had a thick sole and high tread. They will work well on snow too. The pill string leaves are nice cause you don't have to worry about your laces coming undone while running. They have a slight heel to them which help with support. They fit as expected, I usually run 10+ miles so they're pretty sweat logged when I'm done. They dry out well on the shoe dryer. So far I 270 miles on them and they're holding up great. My sense ride 5s have over 1200 miles on them and are holding up great which speaks for the quality of their shoes. I wouldn't buy these for everyday run use unless you're running on a muddy surface every time you go out.
