Perfect replacement motor .. got our heat back on when we needed it most .. works beautifully.. instalation was a breeze .. great value for the money.. runs quietly .. very well built durable motor for the money ..

This motor was the perfect replacement for our furnace blower. We did have trouble initially, figuring out how to to reverse the motor, however, we were able to figure it out using the product description page. We had also contacted the seller and they got back to us promptly. If you are having issues as others were on reversing the direction of the motor, you are to switch the red and black wires on the motor itself, not the wires you are attaching. Once we had figured out our mistake, the motor ran perfectly and quietly on our furnace.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Description sound like a well built product. Motor was clockwise wired out of box and will not run in the counter clockwise wiring position. Dosen't appear to function as listed. Thermal overload in the reverse position. Returning motor. Suplier sent another motor as a replacement and performed just like the first will not work in reverse rotation.

I am completely stumped by the lack of information on how to install a three prong outlet cord. I have tried several different methods on finding out what size nuts are used. Of all the wrenches and sockets (both metric and standard) size sockets and wrenches. I have tried several different methods to contact the customer service but that was a dead end.

Put this on a green house fan and works great

Very smooth motor. Easy to wire. I took a section from a heavy duty electrical cord and wired in an on/off switch to make a very good wire wheel setup. This motor has lots of uses and can be wired for either clockwise or counterclockwise rotation. You can add a shaft arbor or a pulley for more options. The mounting plate also provides flexibility as to where the motor is anchored. Heavy duty. Looks like it will last for many years.

Item came badly packaged but fortunately was not damaged as far as I can tell. I wired it up and it seems to be working well. It hums like a well-oiled machine, and it is very quiet. It came later than expected but that was not a biggie for me, considering the persistent supply chain issues. The ground terminal is exposed externally, and I think it would be a better idea to put it inside, but I gave it 3 stars because the documentation could be greatly improved. Not everybody who buys this motor will be a licensed electrician. Detailed instructions on how to connect the motor to a power source and how to oil it, when necessary, would make the buying experience better for a lot of potential customers.

Motor is quiet and my heat buster fan is working .. The motor did not reverse when switching the wires but it didn't matter in this case
