The Web That Has No Weaver
I just started a course in Acupuncture and was recommended this book. It's great for medical students like me who want to read about the scientific side of chinese medicine and how it compares with western medicine. I would recommend this book to anyone who wants to know more about traditional chinese medicine in a frank way. No hocus pocus writing.

brilliant
I am myself a practitioner of traditional chinese medicine and this was on my to read list for a long time. This is the best book I have read on traditional chinese medicne so far. And I am sorry I didnt read it sooner! It will appeal to the practitioner as much as the non-practitioner as it is so easily explained and laid out so well. it makes for a very interesting read and is highly informative. Humans are quite interesting and this book opens up a whole new way of looking at each other, and understanding each other and our differences. It includes alot of information other books leave out.If there was to be a choice of only having one book to buy on Chinese medicine, this would be it!enjoy! it is a book you can read over and over and still discover more! The Web That Has No Weaver

A good introduction
Have read this book as background before starting a course in Traditional Chinese Medicine. Provides a comprehensive overview of the subject and a platform for more detailed study in particular areas.
