Review: Works great! AFTER a break-in period - Works great! At least mine does. After a break-in period. I was skeptical of the manual's claim that you had to use it 2-3 times before it would be functioning fully. But sure enough, the first couple of times it was quite lackluster...the wax barely moved. But on the 3rd or 4th use (I forget which), it was working exactly as I'd hoped it would. I highly recommend, I'm very happy with this.

Just got this for Christmas for my husband as nostalgia. We’ve been seeing them in the background of many tv shows so he wanted one again. They’re not shaped the same or as big as they used to be, however they are still very cool and calming. Thus one has a remote to change colors which the original ones did not. With them you had to pick a color and live with it. lol this one warms up quickly and the balls are a decent size. It’s just a nice little lamp. About 18” tall and rather streamlined instead of short and fat, but we like it!
