These are not complicated. I ended up supergluing all the parts. Then I superglued four together. In my case I had some items that were too thick to fit in the given hole so I was able to simply cut out any combination of cross pieces making appropriate sized holes for wider items. You can also cut out cross pieces on the bottom as well. In the end, these are flexible, adaptable beyond product description and when glued they are super strong.

This device has wide enough slots that it can fit a variety of pens, markers, and pencils. I have everything in it from Tombow double ended markers, to Mildliners, BIC disposable fountain pens and other random things. This is easier to use than a pencil case or Artbin container (where I have other things thrown together). I like it so much that I ordered another one. So far it is pretty sturdy. It comes packed flat and you assemble it on your own. Takes about 20 seconds to get together and then its ready to go. Goes great on a desk. I wouldn't try sitting this on its side or anything its not that kind of stand.

This certainly holds my colored pencils, pens and art brushes in orderly fashion. It is my suggestion that before you begin to assemble and load them, get a tube of E-6000 or similar glue ready to use. Do a trial fitting to see how it will do. Then glue each corner support in place. I loaded mine only to find that when I wanted to move them to a different shelf, everything came apart. Yes, they snap into place. They also snap out with the additional weight. Save time and patience by gluing them at the start. If you do I believe you will find them a great help as you keep things together yet still easily seen and used.

It works as intended, and is surprisingly sturdy. I expected it to be sort of wobbly, but it isn't.But I tried using it to organize my prismacolor pencils and found the squares were too close together to be able to really see the difference between colors with the organizer on my desk. I'm going to use it for other pens and art supplies, so it wasn't a waste, but I was hoping to organize the colored pencils a bit. :)

Not a huge fan. Colored pencils flop around because the individual recess' in the bottom of the holder are extremely shallow. ..so pencils end up sideways, slanted when placing in the holder. Annoys me. . . Oh well. Others seem to like.Currently slipping the corners of my thinner scarves through the holes in the top part of the organizer for a scarf rack. .

LOVE THESE! What a perfect way to organize all your pens and markers! I was able to put all my papermate felt tip pens, fine and ultra fine sharpies in these holders. I was not able to put some of my larger sharpies in these, but most pens/markers will fit. How amazing to have all the colors of each type of pen so easily accessible. I will be buying a few more once I put all of my markers in one place!

This is a great product. Holds up very well with a child who can be a bit rough and a 60lbs dog knocking it over all the time. My daughter even left this outside one night that it rained and there was no damage to this product. If your wondering if you should buy it I dont think you will be disappointed with it.

I am a 22 year old female artist and I always use colored pencils. I am not the best at keeping things organized like my girlfriend is, and she has been getting mad. So, I bought this colored pencil organizer. When it arrived, I quickly assembled and put my colored pencils in it, then it broke. I fixed it and them it broke again, so once more I fixed it. This time it didn't break, until I carried it to my art room. I carried it like anyone would, had under base and clutching the side. Then it broke again.
