Very happy with this light. Installation was easy, settings are simple to adjust and most importantly the light is very bright and makes seeing all over the backyard easy. The dusk to dawn function works really well.

Easy installation, accurate motion sensor, and boy oh boy is this thing bright!! It lights up my entire backyard very brightly, to a distance of 75 feet where the treeline starts (and it would light up further but there are trees in the way). The price is really good considering the power, and much lower price than the big box stores. The light's color temperature is more along the lines of daylight than soft light, fyi.

Positive: It is very bright. Negative: 1) The 'reduced' light was very bright. No way was it 20%. It was maybe 80 percent of full light. This 'feature' worked one night. 2) The motion detector picked up motion at 6-10 feet, regardless of how it was adjusted. Essentially you need to practically stand under the light to have it turn on. The "on all night at 20%" feature," shifting to full 100% with detected motion up to 69ft" (maybe they meant to say "6-9 ft!) was why I bought the light. Unfortunately I had it over 30 days before I could have it installed or it would be shipped back without question. July 11, 2025 update. The company reached out to me after my first review offering to replace the light or return my money. They were interested in the problems and anxious to try and overcome them. Ultimately a new light was sent, I returned the original and they refunded the shipping charge. The light itself is very bright and works as advertised. The motion sensor defaulted at 6-7 ft. regardless of distance setting. I manually moved the sensor up: one time it detected motion at 15 ft. The next night it was back to 6-7 ft. The company, suggested moving the sensor slightly to one side. It does pick up motion more in the 12-15ft range when off set slightly. The instruction manual does not include this. Bottom line. Good, very responsive company interested in improving its products that extends itself working with customers. I was told there is a 3 yr. warranty. The light itself is very bright and works at various settings. Weak area: motion sensor . If you do not require it to pick up motion beyond 15 ft it will be fine. The sensor may work longer distances , but the two I have used have not proved reliable beyond 15 ft. (professionally installed, unobstructed area).

I ordered a set of Lutec outdoor floodlights lights to cover the four corners of our house. Installation was easy and they worked fine but after about 90 days one light quit working and I suspect the motion sensor failed. I wrote Lutec and received a prompt response advising they would send a replacement without me having to return the failed light. Their customer service representative Joshua sent emails when the replacement light was shipped, and the estimated arrival date. I am impressed with the quality of these lights generally and Joshua’s responsiveness in replacing the defective one…overall a satisfactory experience.

Very bright. I like that it gets brighter when it detects motion. It seems to really get people’s attention that wonder into my yard. Comes on at dusk and turns off at sunrise as it is supposed to and that is the most important for me. I had one similar before this but always had trouble with it coming on too early like during the middle of the day, or turning itself off during the middle of the night for no reason. Anyway would buy again if I needed to.

It’s extremely bright—easily lights up my entire backyard and driveway like it’s daytime. If you’re looking for something that seriously boosts security and visibility, this is it. Installation was pretty straightforward. It comes with the mounting hardware and instructions, and I had it up and running in under an hour. The adjustable heads are a big plus—you can aim the light exactly where you want it. The motion sensor is really responsive. It picks up movement from a good distance (probably 60+ feet), and I like that you can customize the lighting modes. Right now I have it set to stay dim at night and jump to full brightness when motion is detected, which works great. The build feels solid—metal housing, weather-sealed, and it’s handled some rain and wind already with no issues.
