Blackstone 28 Inch Original Omnivore Griddle 2206, Blackstone 2 Burner Griddle Outdoor Flat Top Grill, Propane Portable Gas Grill

First of all let's set the stage. The instructions recommend two person assembly. I purchased the 28 inch unit, am 79 years old and only had me and myself so sort of met the criteria. The assembly and directions were clear and for the most part easy to do. Being by myself I had to make several changes to the process. One, the instructions say to place the frame and legs upside down on a flat surface and unfold the legs. I found that would not work as the legs would not stay upright. The solution that worked best was to set the frame on its long side and unfold the legs. Since the next step was to install the shelf between the legs using one center mounted knob bold at each end this made this step very easy as the shelf would stay between the legs while you threaded in the bolt. if it had been on its back you would have needed two people or three arms. The wheels etc follow and then I hit the second problem. I purchased the conversion kit from Propane to Natural Gas. Whoever installed the propane line must have done it before the burner assembly was installed in the frame and used wrenches with two foot handles. The location and pipe angle made getting two small wrenches on the joint a real pain. It took a lot of fiddling to finally break the connection and install the Natural Gas line. Be advised the top unit has the cover already installed and is heavy. Getting it out of the box is easier if played on its side and slowly wiggle it out. The rest went together easy with the exception of the top handles. Again the location for the bolts is through the frame is is just a pain due to the hole size and location. Other than those items it was a breeze. I followed their instruction for seasoning the grill with no problems and have used it several times since. I found I cooks much faster that on an open grill and if you follow the instructions cleans up very easy. Really love the unit so far.

Awesome griddle/grill. Cooks better than any other propane grill I have ever owned. Only drawback is that is does take a bit of effort to clean up when done,but worth it.

We received the grill on the day. It said it would come in. Everything was in it. Nothing was left out and it is working fine.

Assembly very easy

Great griddle! Flame resistant but pretty strong when cooking. Easy to clean with coconut oil if you don’t want the chemicals from the season you can buy. Size is great for your patio and for regular cooking but also for those who can’t buy a bigger blackstone and on a budget. Pretty heavy hut wheels make it easy to move around

Bought for my daughter and husband. They go thru some bottles. Cooking on it often. Guess they really like it.
