Terrible cheap cheap-looking, the green stems stuck out on it like a sore thumb. If I hadn't been in a rush I would've returned, I spray painted it black.

This black dried amaranthus is dreamy! I got it for spooky decor and it fits the bill. It looks so whimsical and I absolutely LOVE that it isn’t a fake plant. It looks exactly like the listing. I never thought dried flowers could look so good. They do shed a little (which is to be expected) but once they are put on display somewhere stationary there isn’t much shedding. The black treatment does transfer, so be sure to handle with care and not around anything you don’t want to get smudged

Started falling apart pulling out of the bag. Will last one season at best

These flowers are beautiful indeed. They smell great and are perfect for just about any occasion. They are very great quality and worth the money.

I had my doubts about these dried amaranthus pieces; they were either going to be gorgeous and classy or really fake looking. I’m so pleased they turned out to be the former! I’m making wreaths to hang on moon arches for a Samhain wedding ceremony and the dried amaranthus were the perfect thing to balance out the look. They are quite fragile so you have to be careful not to break them, and they also shed a lot so make sure you have a drop cloth or a good vacuum handy when working with them. They also have a bit of a strong smell when you take them out of the package, which is probably the dye that’s used to turn them black. A lot of dye got on my fingers too but it was 100% worth it to get these put up. They are really beautiful and the smell fades quickly once they are aired out. I’m just so pleased with how they look.

I couldn't even get this out of the box as it desinigrated immediately. It turned into powder upon tough. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. I'd give it a minus 10. Try returning it. Been working on that since October.

I make scale dioramas, theatrical/film sets, and intricate Halloween displays and I have found in this dried amaranthus my favorite new material to work with when dealing with any subject that needs a dark vibe. But I am also finding that, used in the right combination with other materials, it can also be used in elegant settings with equal success (capitalizing on its beauty instead of its potential for creepiness). The product itself is high-quality and arrived in pristine condition very well packaged in a box that protected it in transit. Overall a wonderful product that I highly recommend.
