To give context for how this shampoo performs, here’s my hair type: I have 2B waves, high-porosity hair with mixed strand thickness (including some gray), medium density, and an oily, sensitive scalp. My lengths can easily swing between dry and over-moisturized, and I wash every other day. This shampoo is very cleansing. I typically need to double cleanse, but this gets my scalp fully clean in one wash. I’ve tried many shampoos—both sulfate and sulfate-free—and scalp itch and irritation have been a frequent issue for me. This shampoo, however, has been consistently gentle and leaves my scalp itch-free. I appreciate the clean ingredient formulation with no artificial dyes or scents. It encourages slight natural movement, even though I usually wear my hair straight, and it’s become my go-to shampoo regardless of styling goals. The banana scent is light and mild and doesn’t linger after rinsing. One bottle lasted about two months for me. I’ve repurchased this shampoo multiple times and plan to continue doing so. Pros: • Cleansing but not harsh • Gentle and non-irritating (at least for me) • Clean ingredient profile • No artificial dyes or scents Cons: • May be drying for daily use unless paired with a richer conditioner or leave-in

I’ve been looking for a lightweight shampoo that doesn’t weigh my hair down— I’ve a wavy/fine ringlet curls when I have short hair. I LOVE this - and it’s an amazing value for it especially when on sale! It smells heavenly…but that only IF you like a more synthetic banana scent (I think it smells like Laffy Taffy? Very gourmand, but if you’re not a fan of sweet it probably isn’t for you. I also got the conditioner and have seen some more life in my ever-changing hair. A great value for this standard-size bottle, the product arrived sealed and with inner seal intact! The pump is also easy to use and a little goes a long way!

Amazing for problematic scalp. I have oily hair and other health issues. Hygiene took a back seat for a while and because of my oily scalp started getting pimples in my hairline. Then from there basically at different times from the last 18 months there would be areas of my scalp that would fill up with pockets of fluid. It was extremely painful and after months of using Neosporin the pain itch and scar one, i got a lot of the infected areas to heal up. Unfortunately my scalp has changed in certain spots to dry and flaky. This shampoo is creamier and super cleansing, but also very hydrating. The smell is nice and not too strong. Very pleased with the price point and says it works for color treated hair. I'm waiting a little bit longer for my scalp to finish healing and will be coloring my hair hopefully in August at the end of the month. looking forward to putting this very long and frustrating difficulty with my scalp behind me. Definitely recommend the product. Update- definitely should be shipped in a bag. Notice very minimal leaking when I first got it but after being in the hot shower there's like a stream of shampoo that leaks out. Bottle is closed tightly not sure why it does this. Definitely ask if in box with other orders, that this comes in a sealed bag.

I love this foaming shampoo. nice lather and a light coconutty vanilla scent. My hair is double processed and this leaves it hydrated and soft

This is a different kind of shampoo. It’s a foam, cleans really well, and I only have to shampoo once. I use about 3-4 squirts, and work into my hair, per sections.

Nothing special. I mostly got it because someone said it smelled good and a few people said the bottle lasts long. From a scent perspective, the powder itself smells fine, but I wanted a scent that would make my hair smell great and this doesn’t offer that at all. With it being nearly 15 dollars, I don’t think it’s worth the price especially since you can get other dry shampoo powders that the the exact same thing and are 5 or more dollars cheaper. Definitely don’t plan on buying this again. I think even 3 starts is generous for this product but I guess I’m in my holiday spirit

Love the formula. It makes my scalp feel super clean. The big mark off is the pump. I don't know if it is mine or normal, but it does not work well. Barley pumps out anything. So I just pour some in my hand instead.

Disappointing purchase. Used it once left my hair hard and brittle. Performs like a cheap supermarket shampoo. Not at all as advertised. Not sure if it qualifies for return but I should have sent it back. I paid $30-35 for this. Don’t buy. This is my sincere experience.
