Repeat buying every year says it all.
I buy every year, sometimes youโll find a 15 month edition. More expensive this year due to AI additions. I buy for the family to enjoy 1TB of cloud space each. Not particularly bothered or have the ability to use the Office Apps, just use Word for letters. Been buying it for years and OneDrive has come in useful on more than one occasion. Just a tip, always look to buy on Prime Day or Black Friday etc, youโll always find deals and you can renew well before expiry and I believe you can stack up to 5 years in advance.

Good buy!
โญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธโญ๏ธ Essential Productivity Suite With Excellent Cloud Storage Microsoft 365 Personal continues to be a solid, all-in-one solution for everyday productivity. The subscription includes access to the full Office suiteโWord, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlookโalong with up to 1TB of OneDrive cloud storage, which is more than enough for documents, photos, and backups. Ease of Use: Setup through Amazon was straightforward, and the subscription activated quickly. I appreciate the annual auto-renew option since it avoids interruptions and the hassle of manual renewal. Performance & Features: All apps run smoothly across devices, and the AI-powered features (such as writing suggestions, formatting help, and smart Excel tools) genuinely enhance efficiency. The ability to work seamlessly between desktop, web, and mobile versions is a big plus. Cloud Storage: The 1TB of storage is a standout feature. Automatic backups and easy file sharing make it feel secure and convenient, especially if you work across multiple devices. Pros: โข Full Office apps included โข Large 1TB cloud storage โข AI features boost productivity โข Works across multiple devices โข Easy auto-renewing subscription Cons: โข Limited to one user โข Requires ongoing subscription rather than a one-time purchase Overall, this is an excellent option for students, professionals, or anyone who relies on Office apps daily. Itโs reliable, constantly updated, and offers strong value for an annual subscription.

Do NOT disable auto renew after activating, you will lose your subscription...
Was happy at first with the good price and instant availability on the black Friday deal. (ยฃ40 saving) That was until I tried to download / copy the licence key after purchasing this product from Amazon to install it directly into my Microsoft account online. (This option was not available like it always has been before!) The only way to activate this product was directly through my Amazon account which redirected me to login into Microsoft account. Initially everything seemed to be ok, my subscription had been updated with another 12 months added to what I had left on my current subscription which was approximately 13 months left. (My account said that my subscription would NOW end on Dec 2027) I then tried to login into my Microsoft account to manage my subscriptions for Office 365 but it kept redirecting to Amazon , I tried this numerous occasions but still the same result. I could no longer manage my Office 365 subscriptions within my Microsoft account like I have from the day dot. As I was shown / told my subscription was due to expire in Dec 2027 I thought I would disable the auto renew option within my Amazon account for Office 365 Family as I've already purchased it and didn't want it to automatically renew 2 years later. This DID fix the issue for me to manage my Office 365 account within my Microsoft account but by doing this I then lost the extra 12 month subscription which I just paid Amazon for!!! :-( I'm currently speaking to Microsoft to try and resolve this issue at the moment but unfortunately it's been escalated further up the food chain as they can't resolve this issue for me at the moment. They did however confirm that their system had logged that my subscription had been updated to Dec 2027 recently but reverted to Dec 2026 shortly after. Hopefully Microsoft can resolve this for me and I haven't just lost the extra 12 month's subscription I just literally paid for today. 02/12/2025 - Update Microsoft are not willing to help with this issue any further and told me to speak to Amazon as they supplied the product without a licence key and the product purchased is a Amazon Managed product??? Not entirely sure why Microsoft won't help as this is a MICROSOFT product!!! Anyway i'm ยฃ75 out of pocket and I've lost the extra 12 months subscription to Office 365 Family which I paid for. Not happy with Amazon and equally Microsoft, safe to say I won't buy these kind of products from Amazon directly EVER again!!! Argos are currently selling this product for ยฃ74.99 and this is a digital download so you are provided with the licence key via email. (As you should) I would give this product ZERO stars and would definitely NOT recommend anyone to purchase this product directly from Amazon...

Expensive but it does the job
I use a nine year old iMac with the Monterey operating system. I encountered a major issue with Libre Office's equivalent of Powerpoint, running very slowly, especially drag and drop functions. (Yes, I have checked why.) Meanwhile, I find Apple's Keynote a bit baffling as a lot of the functions appear to be lost down a rabbit hole; I like to see most of the buttons on display and ready to use. Having used MS Office on PCs and Macs for over two decades I decided to put my hand in my pocket and reduce the pain by buying a once-only purchase copy of Office (I think 'rent ware' is a rip off for casual users like me). It works fine on Mac OSX 12.7 Monterey. I mention this because the product description on Amazon doesn't make that clear (maybe after reading this they will), it was therefore a bit of a gamble. So, I am back in familiar territory and can get on producing material for lectures. All the controls are pretty much where they were on previous versions. Are there any downsides, apart from the eye-watering price? The download had some heart-stopping moments; near the end, the display said 'running package scripts' and indicated 'about a minute' left'. It took absolutely ages, with no indications of what was going on, while I reduced my finger nails to stumps. The next thing was the inevitable updating that kicked in within an hour or so. Make sure none of the Office apps are running otherwise the process hangs. Finally, one is steered towards Microsoft's cloud storage when saving, rather than the local drive. I soon figured out what to do.

Convenient all-in-one package for families, but renewal price is quite high
I got this mainly because multiple people in the house needed access to Office apps and cloud storage, and overall itโs been very convenient. Having Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneDrive all under one subscription makes things much simpler, especially when sharing across different devices. The amount of cloud storage is generous as well โ up to 1TB per person adds up quickly if you store lots of photos, documents, or backups. The inclusion of McAfee is a useful extra if you want basic security coverage without buying separate software. Setup was fairly straightforward, and everything synced across laptops and phones without much hassle. Itโs especially useful if several people in the household regularly use Office apps for work, school, or personal files. The main downside is the renewal cost. Once the introductory period is over, it becomes quite expensive annually, especially if not everyone included actually uses all the features. Some people may also already prefer free alternatives for basic document editing. Overall, a solid subscription package if you actively use Microsoft Office across multiple users and devices, just worth keeping an eye on the long-term renewal pricing.

Excellent Value for Multi User Productivity and Storage
Microsoft 365 Family is a very practical subscription that offers excellent value, especially for households or small groups. Being able to share access with up to 6 people makes it cost effective while still providing full access to premium Office apps. The inclusion of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook works seamlessly across devices, and everything syncs smoothly through OneDrive. The combined storage of up to 6TB is particularly useful for backing up documents, photos, and important files securely in the cloud. The apps are stable, regularly updated, and easy to use across both desktop and mobile devices. The added AI features also help improve productivity by assisting with writing, formatting, and data organisation. Setup is straightforward through the Amazon subscription, and managing users and devices is simple via the Microsoft account dashboard. Overall, this is a highly reliable and feature rich subscription that is ideal for families or shared households needing productivity tools and cloud storage in one package.

Beware account linking .... you don't get a licence key any more !
Beware ... I followed the instructions for activating the key, but when my previous key expiry date arrived, I was being told that I had no licence and had exceeded storage by 1300 %. I was also unaware that on my PC files that I thought were being stored on the C: drive were actually being stored in One Drive, so it felt like my files were being held to ransom as well! Lack of licence, and the fact that the size of my storage exceeded free storage, it stopped me sending emails from my hotmail account, and was warning that I would not be able to receive any either after XX days - very inconvenient and stressful when in the process of selling a house!! I logged into my hotmail account, I was told that my licence had expired. After going round in circles for days/hours I tried redeeming again, and was told that the product key had already been used - it gave enough details for me to recognise the account - one my daughter had been using. I would not have chosen that account - I don't even know the password. At 14:01 on the day of redemption I updated security information on my hotmail account (confirmed by email) and at 14:13 it inexplicably welcomed my daughter to her 365 subscription. So I am now going to have to keep my daughters account as the primary, as I understand that the key cannot be transferred to another account. What a mess !! Reading the other 1 star reviews, I can see that others have experienced difficulties as well. As it is now on auto renew, I guess that it will renew in my daughters name next year. If I can wriggle out of this, I will seriously consider not bothering in future and using Open Office instead. Previously, the purchase of a licence key gave me control, but this auto-linking has messed things up completely!! Microsoft/Amazon really need to do better.
