Best Enclosed Pistol Red Dot Yet – SIG SAUER Romeo-X Enclosed Compact!
I just mounted the SIG SAUER Romeo-X Enclosed Compact Pistol-Mounted Reflex Sight (Circle Dot version) on my P365 Legion, and it's an absolute winner. If you're looking for a rugged, reliable enclosed emitter optic that doesn't compromise on performance, this is it. The fully enclosed and sealed design is a huge upgrade—dust, rain, lint, or debris can't interfere with the emitter like on open reflex sights. It's built with tough 7075 aluminum housing and an aspherical distortion-free glass lens that's crystal clear edge-to-edge. No fisheye effect, no tint—just a sharp, crisp reticle (I love the 32 MOA circle with 2 MOA dot for quick acquisition). The ultra-low deck height is genius; it co-witnesses perfectly with standard iron sights without any riser. Mounting was straightforward on the RMS-c footprint—no adapter needed. Side battery compartment means no re-zeroing when swapping the CR1632, and with MOTAC motion activation plus 20,000+ hour runtime and 15 brightness settings (including NV), it's incredibly practical for EDC. It's held zero flawlessly through hundreds of rounds, feels premium, and the patent-pending beryllium copper flexure makes it bombproof. Assembled in the USA with SIG's Infinite Guarantee? Peace of mind. If you want mil-spec toughness in a compact package for concealed carry or duty, the Romeo-X Enclosed Compact delivers big time. Highly recommend—worth every penny!

GREAT OPTICS! GREAT QUALITY!
A fantastic Red Dot for a P365X from Sig Sauer. As this was my first Red Dot ever, it took a little getting used to. I went to the range to manually "zero" it in. As it comes with the tools needed to do so, the process was very easy. However, as my first Red Dot, I had a difficult time zeroing in at the range. The next day, I ordered a MidTen Green Laser Bore for zeroing in a laser bore. Took my sidearm back to the range and between Sig Sauer's unparalleled quality, and the help from the laser bore, I was shooting in tight groupings, and hitting my targets with a newfound ease. This Red Dot also has a lifetime warrant - as do all Sig Sauer's shooting products. A little on the higher priced side, but you get the quality to justify it. More important, while I hope I NEVER have to draw my weapon, if I do it's good to know it is SO accurate. After all, do you really want to save a couple of hundred dollars on a cheaper Red Dot, especially when you (or your loved ones') life may be on the line? The Bottom Line? Uncle Steve Approved!

Accuracy and quality
Great quality. Easier to turn off and on than other models.

Wont turn on right out of the box!!!
Amazing for a company like Sig to send a brand new red dot and it won’t even turn on out of the box. I guess I’ll have to switch back to the Holosun that actually works. Awesome quality control fellas!!! 👎🏽

Highly recommended.
Amazing optic. Have had for a while now and had no issues. The foot print is very small so irons are easily visible if needed.

Better than the open version for outdoors
Works Great! Mine does not seem to have the battery issues that others have had. The adjustments are crisp and tactile, and the glass is clear. I started with the open emitter version, but after a day of mowing a property, I decided the enclosed would be better. The open is hard to clean the glass. There is no worries with this one. If you are on the fence, get the enclosed. It is just slightly longer but you can't tell. It is worth the extra money for the cleanliness and ease of maintenance.

Romeo X received and returned...
I received my Sig Romeo X Compact Enclosed today (11/13/2024). Everything looked good to go. The box looked like it had previously been opened, but maybe just for quality control purposes prior to shipping. I then opened the box and installed the Romeo X onto my Sig P365 X Macro. I installed the sight to SIGS spec per the instructions. I am also a certified Sig armor. Everything went well until I installed the battery. The Romeo X turned on and was looking good. But after about 10-15 seconds the red dot would fade away and turn off. The sight would not turn back on unless you took the battery out and put it back in. But then it does the same thing. Thinking it was a bad battery; I tried multiple new batteries and had the same outcome. For how much I spent on this Romeo X, I was not happy with the outcome. So now I'm sending it back for a replacement. I hope the next one does not do the same thing. Also, I have read reviews on here stating that some of the sights other customers had ordered had the same problem or worse. I hope my sight was not a returned item and was sent to me as new. I will give it another shot and see how it turns out. I am hoping for the best because I really wanted this. I will update this review once it comes in... Update: The replacement came in and was in better condition than the first one. Install was smooth and the Romeo X was operational. Got it sighted in and everything is working. Love the sight and how it sits on the P365 X Macro…
