Carcassonne Big Box

One of the best table top games you will ever play, this is the German big box and as such the instructions are all in German but it's no problem, you can download all the English instruction booklets from the Z-man website.The box contains the best 2 (and arguably essential) expansions, Inns and Cathedrals and Traders and Builders. It also has the 6 mini expansions, which add even more to this already brilliant game. I would also recommend the Abbey and Mayor expansion which adds a lot of great features and Bridges, Castles and Bazaars adds some good features but for the Bazaars element which adds a massive amount of time for no gain so my gaming group leave that part of the game out. I would steer clear of The Tower, The Catapult and the Princess and The Dragon expansions as they make the game too random for my liking. I hope to purchase Hills and Sheep soon as that looks to add some good features too.That is the beauty of this game, you can buy the base set and have a great time and as you learn to love this game there are plenty of expansions that add whole new levels of strategy and enjoyment. This is truly a superb game for all ages, I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Great game. contains the full original box game of Carcassonne, the Inns and Cathedrals, Traders and Builders, 6 mini expansions and the crop circles expansion. This does not include the river tiles.Everything is well presented, the box even contains a sturdy plastic insert to keep all of the expansions in separately. This edition is in German, but this does not affect the tiles only the rules book.

We love this. The whole family plays this game together and it is a great purchase. Good quality product, well packaged and perfect present if you have to buy for a teen/pre teen who likes strategy games.

Great big box. English instructions easily downloaded if you can use Google. Best price. Only have to get the river to complete the set.

This is all in German but I downloaded the English rules PDF and it makes no difference. One of the best board games in years.

Includes everything we wanted to make the game interesting and varied. Only played with the two main expansions so far and both were interesting. As explained in description the instructions were in German but we deciphered them using our little knowledge of German, the pictures and some help from the internet.

Luv this game! Know enough to play without understanding German rules and can access English instructions when I want to add the mini expansion sets to the game. Good buy, good value :)
