Upgraded to this from a blink doorbell set up which is slowly over time forcing a subscription on you by removing features or adding new features, all behind subscription pay walls. Nope.Use Eufy for security and also robo vac so knew the brand quality and their no subscription promise.Does what it says, and does it very well. Great picture quality, no subs, no ads, no fuss, no lag. App works flawless and set up was as simple as setting up an Amazon echo for example. Really easy.Wish I bought it with the chime tho as I've had to purchase that separately at extra cost. Get the chime bundle if you can if not it can work with Alexa devices as chimes too but imo having a chime plus your Alexa as a chime results in no missed doorbell rings.

A good quality item from Eufy aka Anker.Pros:Nice Looking.Easy to install.Good clear video.Good clear audio when someone calls and you're away.Good motion detection with user-defined selected areas and privacy areas.I love the user-friendly setting of the Home/Away schedule. A Sleep added to schedule would be great ;)Relatively good battery life but that depends on your settings and events detected/recorded.Also remember, if the outside ambient temperature is below 20c. The battery may last shorter than expected. This is due to the type of battery that has been manufactured.In UK, it seldom gets above 20c in the Summer lol.A recommended product from Eufy/Anker :)

This doorbell has a good video range and without the motion sensor turned on the battery lasts ages. App is free and works ok. One thing of note if you live in an area close to the road the motion detector just runs the battery down very fast. I live approx 8 yards from the public footpath so just use mine as a doorbell ( motion detector disabled). You can also connect the doorbell to an echo dot which is handy

If I could give NO stars I would.Very disappointed with this product and am going to buy a different brand. Easy set up but now the doorbell will not ring my phone when someone is at my door or is very delayed and the person is gone before I get notified. The motion hasn’t worked at all either! My advice would be to save your money this is a really bad product! I’m going to have to cut my losses and buy another brand

Prompt delivery arrived before allotted time.Easy to set up on mobile phones for myself and husband.Would highly recommend this product as it gives me peace of mind when not at home.It also gives a great clear picture, motion detection and no lagging.

Absolutely love this doorbell, I can speak to delivery people and it’s great for security purposes. Bought one for my daughter too. Great price and no ongoing costs unlike other products.

Bought the door bell over the Amazon favourite owing to not wanting to have to spend on a monthly subscription. This product allows for a memory card to be installed in the back so the footage can be stored locally instead of the cloud.On first use the product was easy to set up and install, the video quality is great and it looks smart.Couple of small downsides - the ring function is very quiet and only sounds from the unit outdoors, tried to buy a separate eufy chime to pair with the product so I could hear the doorbell in the back of the house, that did not pair or work so went back.Purchased a home security system at the same time as the doorbell which uses the home hub 2, this doorbell does not pair with that either.Also there is a slight delay between the doorbell being pressed and the call coming through to the phone. Again not ideal.After one month of usage I would send back if I could and swap for one that comes with a chime unit. I feel eufy should spend a little time and money to make clear, compatible systems or at least allow users to be able to understand what systems go together as it is a bit of a minefield at the moment.

This was a 'distress' purchase to replace a previous Eufy Video Doorbell which died after 30 months. I went with the same brand because I did think that the item was good value and I do own a Eufy Home base to which the bell links. I'm hoping the second one lasts longer and we were just unlucky with the first one.The doorbell works well and the bonus is you don't have to pay for a contract in the cloud!
