It is made of a soft-feeling, rubber-like plastic. The mouse is light, comfortable, and has a cool blue light strip that faces the user when active. the scroll wheel feels nice; not too clicky when spun, but feels good, and has a click function when pushed down which is very clicky).When I went to actually click it, I though, "There's almost no click on the left or right buttons." After I thought about it, I realized that it was probably done so that the least amount of force possible was required to use the left and right mouse buttons. Because this mouse is vertical, less force is better.There are two thumb-accessible buttons on the side to go back and forth in a web browser, and they may have more functions depending on the software. There is also a button to control DPI, but I could not tell what it was set to, and there is no software or drivers to do so for the mouse.MAKE SURE to look at the bottom! I though it did not come with the USB 2.4G Wi-Fi adapter (I have the Wi-Fi model with rechargeable battery) because I couldn't find it in the box. But, the amazing thing is that the adapter FITS IN THE BOTTOM OF THE MOUSE! This is my favorite mousing device at the moment. I use it alongside my Microsoft Natural Keyboard and it increases the amount of time I can work without discomfort.
