MapexT770 Double Braced Throne w/Height Adjustment & Back Rest - Round Seat

There is no question that this throne is solidly built, but with only a 14" round seat that is hard as a brick, I am sore snd fatigued after just an hour of playing. It requires extra core strength to overcome falling forward when both feet are up because of the small seat. After six months I've decided move on, and purchased the Tama First Chair Ergo Rider with backrest.

It does the job. But I wish it could be mor comfy. But like I said it gets the job done.👍

The largest of drummers may find this area of actual seating to be too small. That being said this throne is super for any "average" to large person but I am overly large and it did not work for me. However it was not only very nice looking it was sturdy and super elegant. However, my large behind was not comfortable on it after about 4 songs. This unit should be awesome for average drummers and certainly for younger drummers wanting extra sturdiness. I am really bummed that it did not work for me.The shipper was less than fair on the return though they did not even refund the total purchase price citing damage upon return that was not my fault. It left my home boxed well and padded inside, again its a real bummer this did not work out for me. I am sure that average sized folks would have loved this unit.

The throne is just as important as any part of the kit your playing on, hubby is enjoying the drums again good support where needed

The throne is solid and heavy; I use it for playing accordion at home so that is exactly what I need. The minimum height of 18" is a bit too high for me (5'8") because with a 25 lbs accordion pressing on my left thigh, I need both feet firmly on the ground. I remove a clamp on the post to lower the seat to 17", just perfect.The throne does not come with assembly instructions. I don't know whether because I buy it "open box, like new." There is not much to it and YouTube has some videos (not in English, however) on unboxing and assembly if one needs that.

I love this throne for my guitar practice. This plus a foot stool is the perfect combination for me while playing guitar. The back rest is superb and really supports my lower back while I play. No more pain and I now enjoy longer playing sessions.

I have 2 sets, practice and gig set. Both had old seats, I'm using this one with the gig drum set.

I read many reviews about drum stools and as I was buying before trying, I really had no idea what to expect other than it was good value for money; sturdy; comfortable; easy to put together. It is all of those things! Mine is very comfortable on a carpet base and does not wobble in the seat as some have described. Overall, I think it was a great choice.
