Sway bar
Good item

I should have bought this years ago
I got talked into these by a friend and they are worth every penny. I pull a 20’ enclosed behind my 32’ motorhome and installed two of these after a year of no stabilization and it’s night and day. It made Highway travel much more stable, especially in high winds in Kansas and Oklahoma. Passing and being passed by semi trucks is way less enevetful than it used to be. It helps the motorhome and trailer act as one piece instead of two so it’s more predicable and easier to control.Only downside is the noise when you turn, but you get used to it and don’t really care because of the difference it makes when going down the road

Sway no more!
I installed this in literally <15 minutes, although I do have appropriate power tools like a good drill, good bits, and an impact driver. Mount the ball, C-clamp the frame mount piece, drill pilots, drive the self-tapping screws with an impact driver, slip the bar on, tighten it down, and you are done. It made a HUGE difference in driveability with my 32ft toy hauler behind an 05 Excursion. The Excursion is a monster, but they do suffer from quite a bit of sway even without a trailer, and then I put on snow tires, and it was pretty scary. This thing corrected the sway problems completely with summer tires, but I'm getting another one to really smooth things out when I have my tall sidewall winter tires on. My only reason for -1 star was that the cotter pins fall out: Replace them with captured coupler pins and you will be fine. YOU MUST REMOVE THIS WHEN BACKING UP!!!!! It's also a good idea to remove it when maneuvering at slow speeds in parking lots or campgrounds, if for no other reason than it makes a lot of noise and everyone turns to stare.

Game changer
For trailers under 5,000 lbs it's a game changer. We have a single axle wolf pup. Once I figured out to tighten the top screw so a few threads are visible on the back side before tightening the bottom with the lever, it works super well. I opted not to use a weight distribution hitch until I get a heavier trailer. This by itself is all you need for loads under 5,000 lbs. Many hours of research confirms this plus getting rid of back end sag from you vehicle. I do have a short bed 1/2 ton. Unfortunately, it took a year to figure out I wasn't tightening the brake bar correctly by ignoring the top screw with thread sitting flush with the back side. Directions clearly needed to be read which was my down fall. Once I got the tightness correct, I am able to tow 65+ with some wind, 60+ in heavier wind, and 55+ in very heavy wind. I bought a curt receiver with the tab already welded to go with this.

Reese - Exactly as Described!
Some have complained that the product they received was not a Reese product, but mine arrived in a Reese box with Reese labels on the bar itself. Note that Reese is owned by Horizon Global Corporation (as seen on the end flap of the box in the attached photo), and HGC also owns DrawTite, Fulton, Bulldog, and Bargman.HGC was previously known as Cequent Performance Products, which some reviewers complained was the brand on their stabilizer bar. So whether you purchase a Cequent, Fulton, DrawTite, Reese, etc. stabilizer bar, you are getting the exact same product!Although not a part of HGC as far as I can tell, the EAZ LIFT sway control bar appears to be identical, has identical parts in the bag, and has the exact same instructions as the Reese hitch other than the logo changed at the top of the page. You can't beat the price on this stabilizer bar.NOTE: Do not adjust the bolts on the unit until you have read the instructions. Buried deep in them is a note that you should start with the factory settings, and then turn the bolt 1/4 turn until the tension is correct (after test driving each adjustment). However, when I received the bar I immediately started playing with it, turning the bolts, and now I have to try and figure where the factory setting was originally, which will probably take me extra time.I have not installed it yet but I will update this review after I do. I do know that for my last two trips my 30' camper trailer has swayed excessively when driving at highway speeds in windy areas, so I am looking forward to an improvement. However, the installation appears to be straightforward (based on the instructions), requiring a single drill bit and a ratchet wench.

I can now tow heavy trailers without the worry of sway
I have had two serious incidents over the last few years of towing heavy trailers when they started to fishtail. Really scary. They did not cause any accidents, but it sure put the fear of God in me. I had to stop and adjust the load so it was farther forward on the one trailer, on the other one, I just had to drive really slow all the way home. With this on my travel trailer and with the trailer properly loaded, I don't have to worry about it fishtailing at all. It is solid as a rock. I have also installed the same hitch on my smaller flat trailer, so when it is empty, it no longer fishtails at highway speeds. You just have to remember to remove it before backing up. Highly recommended. The only problem I have had with the installation is that sometimes I had some trouble drilling the holes for the screws. Cheap drill bits.

Good Price for Original Equipment
This was a replacement for a sway bar in use for over five years. Exact same bar that needed to be replaced. The “L” shaped control finally stripped. I could have rigged it to work but it plays too important a role not to have it operating as intended. Price was $30-&40 less than same part at a local trailer supply store.
