Wonderful dog run line for camping!
My adult son bought one of these for his chocolate lab. I saw it in use during our annual family camping trip. I ordered mine as soon as I was back within cell service. It's been used many many times and is holding up extremely well. I do not believe any dog should be tethered to a tree, post or object where they have very limited movement. I use this while camping to keep my dog safe when my hands are busy. I would NOT recommend this for a permanent fixture in a pet yard (that is not it intended use).

Flawless execution
This thing was perfect for our camp trip with my golden. She’s 65# and could pull without any damage to the lead as well as give in the line. The other thing is the line is quite long so it was perfect for stringing across our campsite from tree to lantern pole. Buy it, it’s perfect!

Worked for 2 dogs!
We added a second swiveling carabiner for a second dog. This worked very well on a long weekend camping trip. Much easier than the tie out stake we had as it didn't cause trips, etc. It took a few minutes for us to figure out the system--it's similar to the typical camping hammock systems, but the bag confused us at first. It's well worth the money and seems very durable, but we only used it for a few days so far (although that included some rain storms).

Game changer!
We purchased this run to make camping with our 35lb quintessential hound less cumbersome- he has proven that he can’t be off leash but we wanted to give him the freedom to explore a little while we did other things. This run is a total game changer! Strings up easily between two trees, 25ish feet end to end. With a 6 food leash, this gives him a great range of exploration. My experience was that the run needed to be cinched up once after he’d been on it for an hour or so; after that it stayed taught through a 3 day camping trip. Super convenient storage and the “daisy chain” is long enough to go around a fairly mature tree. Leash hook slides easily along the run and locks so you don’t have to worry about the dog slipping out and rotates to help prevent tangling. I wouldn’t suggest setting this up as a permanent fixture but for a portable option it can’t be beat! (Photos are of the "test set up" immediately after delivery)

Worth the price
I've used Ruffwear leashes, harnesses, collars for years. I usually use a cable tie out when I go camping for my 85lb retriever and it always ends up wrapped around the firepit, coolers, table, etc. I was car camping and saw someone had 2 dogs on one of these and it was working perfectly. Keeps everything high and off the ground, gives more area to roam without getting tangled. I went home and purchased one, and it's amazing. Worth the price.

Changed the way we camp with our dogs
We've been camping with our dogs for a few years now, and they are always getting tangled around picnic tables, trees, knocking over water dishes, tripping the children. We got a new puppy and bought this before we took her on her first trip. This is the best thing ever! We were able to wrap it around a third tree in the middle and put one dog on each side with an extra carabiner. We've used it at three different campsites now, and each time it has been a life saver. We put it just high enough where we can walk under it, and bought two Mighty Paw Chew-Proof Dog Leashes to use with it so my Pomsky can't chew through them. We get tons of compliments about it too!
