I was looking for something to keep my dog’s outside water cool during the day & I found these ice trays. The metal frame at the top is nice to help keep shape especially when I put water in them. I put all six cubes of ice in the bowl at a time when I leave home around 8am. I get home around 6pm & although the ice has melted, the water is still cool to the touch. I’ll be buying a second pack so I will have enough for a week at a time for them.

Leave a little space at the top of each cube to allow for expansion without expanding so much as to lift the lid off.2. Freeze on flat surface. These don’t do well just sitting on the grating in a freezer shelf.3. While you can stack these, the lids are also silicon so there is some give to them. I would advise against stacking if you want them all to freeze evenly.4. If the cubes become attached to one another at the top do not panic. It will only be a very thin layer of ice which will break off easily.5. Easy extraction from the molds. I recommend releasing them all at the same time. Place a small bowl under the mold and press from the bottom of each cube - one at a time! Use the metal frame around the top to provide a little extra leverage if you need it.6. Use the metal frame around the top when you’re filling and carrying these! Truly it’s the best improvement on silicon ice trays ever!7. The cubes are perfectly sized so that if you fill and release all three trays they will “Tetris” into a 1.5-gallon freezer zip bag and lay flat for storage. Seriously, you’re going to like this perk.

I love the large ice cubes these silicone molds make and the cubes are easy to take out because of the flexible silicone, my only complaint is that the lids aren't very tight so water will leak out if I overfill.

Itʻs so easy to always have large ice cubes ready when needed! The silicone material is a game changer with the ease of removing the ice cubes from tray! Love it!

Never thought a simple ice cube tray could make my day, but this one did it.Does everything it claims to do in the description.I’ve had other large cube ice trays, but the cubes are a pain to get out.Not the case with this one. The cubes easily slide right out without having to wait for them to melt a bit.The cover is a great idea and the metal reinforced sides makes transport easy with no spilling.Giving 5 stars was a no brained…wish I could give more.A great product and a great value.

Very pleased with this product. I believe it’s all silicon, except for a support frame on top, which is totally enclosed in the silicone. Cubes are removed quite easily. I stack them on top each other in the freezer. No leaks.

Love these! The cover helps. The stiff rim around the top makes it structured with less spills and easy to use
