This box is great for basic function with an XLR mic. It does offer some interface that doesnt require you to get too deep into it like the GoXLR mini I have but it does lack a lot of quality of life options. One would be the actual gain of the mic. You have 3 options for the gain of your mic. Thats pretty rough considering other interfaces give you a lot more control plus the windows option so you can really dial in your background sound and function. The plus is you can plug in a console without any complicated steps. Too bad I dont have any consoles so for a 2 PC set up I can run the streaming rig as a stand alone audio pc without having to have it running. The software is 70% of the crutch with this one. They really need to make it more customizable with more actual gain control. Other than that its a great little box. Easier and intuitive to use software makes it preferable over my GoXLR mini thats for sure.

After wasting money on a faulty 3rd gen Focusrite Scarlet Solo (crackling audio), I switched to the GoXLR, which then stopped receiving software updates a month later which it desperately needed more of (had a growing number of issues over time, and no software patches are coming to fix them)... What I needed was volume mixer for voice chat, Phantom Power, Mic Monitor, the ability to hear my PC and Nintendo Switch through one output at the same time, and some basic mic settings like EQ and Gate. It is also so much smaller. I got all I needed for way cheaper than I expected. The only features I lost from the GoXLR were features I didn't use. Yet at the same time does way more than my Scarlet Solo for not much more money. I wish I found this sooner. My Mic: Shure SM7B + Cloudlifter My headset: Philips Fidelio X2
