Daytona Vibes
Eco drive Weekender Brycen is a great watch. Very accurate, handsome, large cream color dial with nicely legible indicators and markings. The lume on the hands is bright and lasts a decently long time, being visible in darkness for several hours. While it would have been nice to get some lume on the dial makings as well, the hands alone get the job of simply telling time in low light done. The chronograph is mechanical quarts movement caliber no. B612, a main second hand chrono accurate to 1/5 of a second. (Which means there are five micro ticks of the second hand per second, giving more of a sweep feel.) Non perpetual calendar, so you will need to set the date on the first of the month a few times a year. Subdials include 24hour(am/pm) indicator, dedicated chrono minute dial up to 60 minutes, and a second hand for the main time. (The large main second hand will not run unless the chronograph is activated which I believe is leading some people to believe this watch is arriving broken) Solar powered by citizens Eco drive technology so there is no need to worry about battery changes for a decade or more. Solar power also means that the power hungry chronograph can be run at will without worry of consuming battery life. the case features a two position knurled non screw down crown for adjusting date/time. Crown turns nicely and seats into all three positions well with no slipping or sticking. Case also boasts two oversized flat top stopwatch style buttons for activating and resetting the chronograph. The buttons have an excellent click feel upon pressing to activate and to reset. Interesting to note that the buttons will only click upon the first press since the last press of the opposing button. So for example from rest, the button presses go like this: Activate/click... Pause/no click... Reset/click... Repeat. The black bezel is a non spinning tachymeter scale with attractive silver scale numbering in a sporty racing inspired font. The crystal is a hardlex instead of a sapphire which is ok, but sapphire would have been a wise call with a watch face of this size. The brown leather rally style strap arrives stiff but breaks in nicely in a short period of time, becoming soft and comfy and really brings the vintage racing chrono look all together. All in all this is a good quality watch with excellent features and aesthetic. Id give it a 4.999 only because the crystal is not sapphire. I like this watch so much that I will also be buying the black dial version in short order.

Really nice looking watch. The bank is strong and appears to be of good quality. The dial is easy to read. I am pleased with my purchase.

Nice Everyday Watch
I was interested in this watch a few years ago when it was a lot less pricey but I didn't get it. Wish I did. Even at the sale price I picked it for it's still costs a lot more. I wanted a eco-drive watch because I'm a huge fan of the Casio solar watches. This watch looks better then most Casios of this style. The face is simple with stamped numbers and pins. Easy to read the cream dial although in low light the white hands can be difficult to read. The hands are the only part that glows. Buttons seem to be of good quality. The band was instantly removed and I installed a Barton silicone band (black with orange trim). The leather band did not have quick release pins so it was in a pain getting off. The Barton is WAY more comfortable. Good size stainless steel case. Not huge by any standard but not small like many dress watches. Keeps good time although not atomic. Outer rim is a tachymeter which is easy to use since the large second hand belongs to the stopwatch. Of course it requires math so if you're unaware of how it works there are tutorials online. Comes is a decent gift box. Highly recommended if you can get on sale.

Nice value
Nice design, nice quality. Have to concur with others on 2, and only 2, complaints: 1. The band is remarkably uncomfortable. Stiff, like, super stiff. Like a $3 fake leather band would feel. 2. The date window is useless. You can't see it at all. I'm not going to even bother setting it. It is otherwise very nice. Eco drive has the convenience of a battery quartz watch but a higher end feel. Overall very nice

Good watch, but...
Watch is nice, but do not fall for the price manipulation. The listing always reads that it is 45-50% off of the normal $400+ price. This is not true, I've never seen the price budge from the $236 range. They try to convince you that you're getting a steal of a deal. It's a $200 watch. Also the band is really uncomfortable. The buckle is strangely sharp and pokes you in the wrist and the leather is very stiff making it not comfortable at all. I just purchased an after market band for $20, which I hope makes it much better.
