I recently decided to try out the PoP voice Lavalier Lapel Microphone, and I'm really happy with it. A lot of customer reviews rave about its value for the price, and I have to agree.First off, the mic comes neatly packaged and is super easy to clip onto your clothing. For the money this is an extremely useful and nice mic. There's a few expectations that need to be set, first that the frequency range it's picking up is limited. So for the voice or my guitar it's pretty crisp and clear and that translates well out of phone speakers. If I try to pick up bass frequencies it doesn't do very well. Second, the power it needs is easily provided by a phone or computer but it can't be easily powered through an interface or mixer. Phantom power will blow it up and no power will be completely silent.That being said, it's a night and day difference compared to any phones internal mic. It's perfectly acceptable quality even for a singer songwriting posting simple videos. It's not hifi. But it's not lofi either and it doesn't have any weird buzziness or ground noises or anything. For $10 it's a must have for anyone who ever uses their phone to capture audio.For a songwriter I really recommend it because if you want to get a good sound without one you need to get very close to your phone when recording. With this I clip it to my shirt and it captures both my guitar and voice at a nice level and I can actually sit back from the camera and relax a bit.

Straight to the Point, if you are looking for a great Mic for a Great Price totally get this.It is way cheaper than most mics and sounds great for the price point, I used/ texted it on my phone and camera, both sound great,It does have a few downsides the little mic cover is hard to take off a little and put on but just a minor inconvenience, and another thing is the other plug in thing you plug into the aux or Jack, the glue came loose and it slides not off completely but it slides and I just got it today,I plan to use this mic for my phone and camera I will update, haven’t texted outside in wind will see how it sounds under certain circumstances,But to sum it up I would totally Recommend this mic it’s if cheap but high quality, would of got a 5 but the glue messed it up check out the pics and video

Awesome microphone I purchased two.. I had in my possession a cheap dynamic microphone that sounded terrible. I disassembled it and removed the inner parts and mounted the two small mic in theCasing.. you may not believe me but it sounds better than my expensive shire mic. What I love the most about it is that it does not pickup background noisesLike my two condenser mics does even plugged in my small behringer usb mixer..really a game changer and the best sounding mic I have owned

For me, the cons are outweighing the pros each time I use this.I want to start with what I like about it, first.I REALLY like that it flaunts the logo consistently across separate areas of the product itself. It's an attractive placement choice.~ The clip is really neat and sturdy. It came with additional replacement equipment pieces. That's really thoughtful, and I do appreciate that! The black bag that is included feels super strong and it has a cool drawstring feature.The negatives about this mostly regard the quality of the audio and the material itself. The cords don't feel durable to me at all. They remind me exactly of the dollar shoppe audio cords. I feel very certain it will start to come apart within the next month with minimal to normal wear and usage. The audio sound is very basic, and comes a little short of decent. I'm not impressed but this is also not a high-end costly product. I should not expect great things from this but I was hoping for at least a "good standard".I just find this affordable and basic. That's not so bad, if you have zero expectations! In fact, I think this mic is perfect for anyone that has zero expectations! But i think this type of quality is just not something I'm okay with using on a regular basis. This is not a professional product but it has a good appearance, usage falls into a simplistic level, and it has a lower-average quality of performance.
