Review: Another good read... but... - I liked the characters for the most part, although Ken kind of turned out to be a little bit scary in the bedroom. Still haven't decided if I liked that turn of events. But, the plot was great and I love it when previous characters pop up because I'm still invested mentally in all of them as a family type group. The battle they're in requires them to stick together. The storyline of Ken and Mari was interesting, exciting, very intense, and heartbreaking. I have a complaint though. Am I the only one confused by the lack of concern in the story and characters about who the traitor in their midst is? It just seems strange that it's mentioned when there's an attack, yet the story never even tries to ponder who it might be. I love how Whitney just gets crazier to the point where the reader wonders why he hasn't imploded. Lots of action and drama. I hope some answers to important parts of the plot get answered at some point. I would be prepared for violence, darker storyline and it has triggers. Personally I loved the storyline, Feehan gives a real glimpse on Whitney's crazy character. In prior books Whitney is only spoken off, except book one but Feehan shows him in a different lite in this book compared yto book one. I am so happy to see Ken get his HEA. This is the fifth or sixth time Reading this story and each time it gets better.
