Great outlet
This outlet works very well and it’s great for the money. We installed an electric charger in the garage about a year ago and we didn’t have any problems. Would recommend.

Well-built but very tight fit in 1-gang box
Terminals felt solid. Problem was that you need about 2 1/16" inch wide INSIDE your electric box for it to fit in, and the metal 1-gang box already installed in my garage was just under 2", so I had to cut the wall open, remove the old box, and replace with the widest 1-gang box I could find at the hardware store, which was exactly 2 1/16" wide inside, and it was a tight interference fit, but did fit. The specs say it works with 1-gang or 2-gang boxes, but the plate doesn't cover the entire face of the 2-gang box and I didn't want a half-inch gap around the edges of the outlet into the wiring area.

I bought this 50amp outlet and when I received it the original box was broken at two sides. Contact customer service and got fixed issue very quickly: offered two options for me: 1) replace by a new one (another shipment) 2) if accept the broken box one gets 50% off Well option #2 works for me so I am very happy with the brilliant customer support! Thanks a lot!

I bought this for my ev charger. Before I place the order, I did a lot of research about how to choose a proper recepatble for ev charger. Frist I passed the recepatble sold in HD, it looks very weak. Then I passed those expensive one recomanded by utber, because I really dont need a industrial grade one. For the following reason I chose this one 1. My ev charger plug will not be frequently plug out 2. The price is fair 3. This brand has a history of producing electrical products for decade 4. After I receive the product, I am satisfied with the product quality

I use this for my Level 2 car charger. Works great!!!!

Got it to add a Nema 14-50 outlet for my Tesla. Installed fast, and now my Model S charges well at 32a (the max for my travel charger).
