Compressed Air Duster ReviewCOMMENTS -I have several somewhat unique uses for the Compressed Air Duster as well as many that are quite typical. Weight, size, and balance - and therefore comfort - is excellent. I do not feel I have to "fight" the Compressed Air Duster when using it for brief or even long periods of time. I have a few sensitive tools I clean weekly. This duster ensures no cleaning fibers remain in or on the tools. Gone is the need to either use compressed air cans or one of my compressors. The Compressed Air Duster provides speed, convenience, and does a great job blowing fibers out of and off these sensitive tools. Knowing that others might need to do the same and likewise have a need to get into tight places to blow junk out, I figured I'd take time to measure and provide detailed measurements/dimensions for the attachments that came with the Compressed Air Duster. So please read on should you too have an interest in what might fit in your applications.* Air speeds. Three of them! Low, middle, and high. Plenty of power. Plenty of air for such a compact, rechargeable device.* The air speed is conveniently controlled by just one button. Just one! - the power on/off button. Long press button for about 2 seconds until fan powers on. Long press to power off. When running, press button a second time for middle speed and press a third time to use highest speed. A fourth press puts the duster into a one-minute-long standby mode which negates the need to constantly do a long press to power back on. To ensure the blower is fully powered off and to conserve battery power, be sure to power off using a long press. But if you forget, don't worry as after the 1-minute standby period, the Compressed Air Duster automatically powers off.OBSERVATIONS -* There are two openings through which one can view a state of charge LED (light), however the openings are way, way, WAY too small, making it quite difficult, not to mention quite inconvenient to see the LED while charging and when charged, etc.* With the charging cable connected, the LED quickly flashes red while charging and is solid green when fully charged - as well as when using the duster. When the duster is in standby mode, the LED slowly blinks green for about 1 minute, after which the Compressed Air Duster then powers itself completely off.* A forward-facing white LED helps illuminate the work area. Knowing anything that uses battery power can be a juggling act since brighter illumination will reduce dusting time. So how about a button that allows a user to increase brightness when desired, knowing run time will be reduced? Using this duster to clean my sensitive tools is awkward as this duster can block my far brighter external lighting. I have to halt dusting, look at tool using external lights, resume dusting if/as needed.* Manual specifies the supplied "Type-C" charging cable length is 31.5in (800mm) long. Mine measured 31.25in (793.75mm) long. Weight with twist tie: 18.7g* Manual specifies weight at 450g - 500g. Mine weighs 382.5g with nothing attached. With lightest attachment, weight is 385.3. With heaviest attachment, weight is 395.6. So just what is this weight specification?* Five attachment tools provided: (NOTE: dimensions were reasonably measured but should be considered somewhat approximate)* 5 inch (128mm) length, Longest cone shaped nozzle. The cone's fan end is 0.8in (20mm) OD (Outside Diameter). The tip measures 0.4in (10.2mm) OD with a 0.3in (8mm) ID (inside diameter) outlet. Weight: 13.1g* 2.75 inch (70mm) length, Shorter cone shaped nozzle. The cone's fan end is 0.8in (20mm) OD (Outside Diameter). The tip measures 0.3in (10mm) OD with a 0.25in (6mm) ID outlet. Weight: 5.8g* 1.63 inch (41.5mm) length, "Stubby" cone shaped nozzle. The end of the nozzle is reduced to 0.68in (17mm) OD x 0.56in (14mm) ID, for a 0.375in (9.5mm) length. Weight: 4.4g* 4.25 inch (108mm) overall length, brush. Brush head is 0.8in (20mm) diameter with 1in (25.4mm) long bristles. There are 12 groups of bristles. Weight: 10.2g* 2.5 inch (63.5mm) length, "large golf tee looking" nozzle. This is for filling devices with air valves. At the 0.35in 9(mm) long x 0.25in (6.35mm) x 0.15in (3.8mm) flat tip, there are two sideward facing slots 0.3in (0.78mm) x 0.14in (0.36mm). Weight: 2.8g* Three handheld brushes were also included.IMPRESSIONS -So how does it work? GREAT! I have so far successfully used it to:* Blow leaves, paper, etc. off a 70 ft x 6 ft concrete walkway with a wall along one side and end-to-end benches along opposite side.* Computer keyboard. Under computer mouse buttons to clean/clear switches. Multiple laptop keyboards.* Clean multiple, sensitive tools every week to remove cleaning fibers.* Blow out areas vacuum cannot access - and then vacuum/sweep up.

Powerful duster that outperforms any compressed air can
This was hands down the best replacement for the compressed air cans that I used to buy to clean my custom PC.First off, this duster can produce a jet of air that is way more powerful than any can of compressed air can produce. It also has 3 different levels so you can use a slower stream if you need something more gentle. I had a super dusty PC that I neglected to clean for awhile and this made quick work of cleaning it, where I think it would have taken me much longer with a can of compressed air.One of my biggest gripes with the cans of compressed air is that you can only use it for a limited time in one sitting. The chemical reaction that occurs in the can cools the walls of the can to near freezing, at which point, the air flow is very weak until the can warms up again. This duster completely avoids that issue, which I feel like is reason enough to buy it.However, I think this will also save you money in the long run. In the past, I would go through about 4 cans a year cleaning the inside of just one PC about once a month. You can easily pay $25 for 4 cans so if you plan to clean more often than I did or use it for multiple PCs or general cleaning, the duster can easily pay itself off in less than a year. I recently built a new PC and plan to keep my old PC for work so I'll have 2 PCs to clean now. Plus it has also been useful for cleaning my car and other areas of my house.A few smaller pros about this duster:1. It comes with cleaning brushes and a variety of nozzles, including one that can be used to inflate air mattresses, pool toys, etc.2. It comes with a cloth drawstring bag that stores the duster + all the attachments to keep things organized3. The battery is rechargeable and includes the USB cable, so no having to deal with battery replacements.

Works Pretty Well, Better Than Canned Air Duster
I got this electronic air duster as a replacement for expensive canned air. Canned air dusters work well due to the tiny straw they come with that focuses the air to a small point. And you get maximum pressure when you pull the trigger. But that pressure dies off quickly and a full can doesn't last that long. Plus if you hold 'em at the wrong angle, they'll spew liquid. This electronic duster works fine. Three speeds, a button, pretty simple. I haven't had it long, so I can't speak to longevity. But I tested the air speeds using a wind meter. At a distance of about 8 inches, canned air measured about 30 MPH. This electronic duster measured 15 MPH at its highest setting. Holding the tip closer to the meter, I got 40 MPH. Canned air was mid 40s MPH. So all in all, not too bad and being electronic, it lasts much much much longer and after a recharge, you're good to go again. Definitely worth the money.Out of curiosity, I purchased another electronic model available on the market and it is much more powerful (50 MPH at 8 inches and 100 MPH up close!). So I'm sticking with that one, but this one is still decent for the money.

This BLOWS (in a good way!)
Saved me tons of money in the long run from no longer buying canned air. Cleans like a champ, a bit loud- but thats how you know theirs a good pressure! Comes with brushes too, great stuff!
