I was very pleasantly surprised by this battery. It is always a gamble buying a third party battery. Even though it is cheap compared to the price of the original, it is still an expensive item by any measure, and I don't want to throw away my money. I am glad to say it is acceptable and much better than my previous experiences with third party batteries.I used this on a Dell XPS 17 (L702x) laptop. The battery was not identified by the system as non-Dell, it has an acceptable battery life and mostly seems to be able to provide the necessary power.With light use and the screen always on, a full charge lasts almost exactly 2 hours. Running Netflix it lasts about 1 hour and 20 minutes.This is probably slightly less than the original Dell 9-cell battery. I don't know for sure, but I recall the original lasting up to about 3 hours on a full charge.It provides enough power to run games acceptably. Audio sometimes crackles - audio always seems to be the first casualty of insufficient power, but it is not too bad.Physically the battery does protrude at the bottom, but not much more than the original Dell battery and it is not too uncomfortable.All in all, pretty good for the money.

I was so pleased to find this, as my otherwise reliable laptop began telling me the battery would need to be replaced - and I really didn't want to go to the expense of buying a new laptop, nor paying some exorbitant price to Dell for a replacement. The battery arrived really fast, and it was so simple to install.The way the battery is designed, a large portion protrudes from the base of the laptop, so it makes the laptop sit at a slight forward angle - although this actually makes it easier to type on the keys, it might prove an annoyance if you regularly need to transport your laptop from place to place.I couldn't really rate the battery life or value for money yet, as I've only used it for roughly a month, but I've not encountered any issues so far.

This product does exactly what it should : Powering my old Dell L502X laptop after its original battery failed. I was down to 5 minutes of battery time from a full charge on the old one, but swapped this one in, charged it up, and got 2 hours. Brilliant!Just one word of warning for anyone also buying this item : It's a bit of a tight squeeze into the battery compartment. It fits, and it works, and it doesn't damage anything, but you will find yourself having to apply extra pressure to lock it in. I recommend applying that pressure evenly, using both hands to distribute the force.The other thing to bear in mind is that this battery has an extra 3 cells, and this gives is an L-shape which creates a sort of "stand" for your laptop when you put it back down, tilting the back end of it somewhat towards you. I like this personally, as it makes it easier to type, but if you have a snug fitting carry case, you may want to check you have enough space for it.Other than that, highly recommended.

I replaced the battery in my Dell laptop...unlike my previous replacement ( but I can’t recall where I purchased it) this one does not show it is charging which I’d a great shame. Too early to state if it has a good batteryI’ve.

I’ve had this for a while now! In my dell XP’s 17 l702 laptop ( which is getting old these days)I’ve had a few cheaper batteries & they where poor or didn’t last long! This one has been perfect no faults and works like a dream! Let’s hope it continues!

I had yellow light flashing on my dell laptop so had to order this battery. Excellent service for the delivery. Replaced in the laptop and its working OK so far. Need to Monitor for few months to see how it respond and last. Thank you,Patel

For some reason this battery has stopped working after about 6 months of use. The lights on the power status bar on the battery itself flash in an alternating pattern and then go off for a while and then all light up and stay lit for a quite a while. Very strange, anyway, perhaps I happen to have a faulty one.

Battery doesn't hold charge cam fully charged but doesn't recharge, just tried to use computer but shows 0% charge 1st Battery had a problem and wouldn't charge company sent me a replacement battery will be using it over the next few weeks and will update this review after this period
