building new replacement window for screen door. The people at this company helped me with what I needed and answered all my questions on compatible parts. Order arrived bent and kinked. Called to let them know, sent pictures of the damage done, asked for a replacement , easy peasy great people to deal with. Will continue to order from them for all my needs.

Didnt work it broke right away

I used these to make stormwindow pane frames to allow for removal to switch to screens if desired. A total of 20 stormwindows were made, with two panes per window. The aluminum frame works adequately, but the connection at the corners is the weak link. In case a window pane broke and needed replacement, I opted to square cut the frame material and use the square plastic corner connectors. These make for a weak connection at the corners. Mitering and crimping the corners would work much better, but the crimping tool is very expensive and the whole frame would need replacing if the glass pane ever breaks.

The frame would be OK if the corners kept the frame todgether.

My screened-in porch has six windows all using these frames supporting plexiglas. One had a bent frame that made it difficult to install. Removed the old frame on two sides saving the corner clips then cut the sash frame to fit, reassembled and that was it.

Be prepared to use a hack saw and file to make this fit your window frame. Mine arrived bent and they are really difficult to straighten back out without damaging them.

I don’t know from what aluminum they are made, but they are so soft, it’s a shame
