I have an Indian Ringneck, still a young bird, and this retractable harness can be adjusted to fit different foot sizes. I didn’t use it much because my bird isn’t fully trained to go outside yet, but the quality is impressive. The material feels strong and well-made, and for the price and how quickly it arrived, it exceeded my expectations. I still have it stored for future use, and overall it seems like a very good product.

I didn't recieve all the 5 different sizes as described (only got 3) so I did a return and again only recieved 4 of them. But what I noticed was that they are too heavy for the birds to walk/fly in, another con is that they are not comfortable at all for the birds( they didn't seem to like them)

I have two birds and both of them have the ring cut, but when I go outside to get free and I use that, that’s very easy to put under little waist I like it I highly recommend

The concept is great, but it retracts abruptly at such a speed that your bird could die. I’m not exaggerating. The lock needs a different type of stop. It’s incredible how quickly the cable retracts. My bird flew on the reverse. Thinking about returning it If I can’t figure something out. Again looks amazing but that little detail was overlooked.

Overall a great product, Unfortunately it felt a little heavy for my adult Indian ringneck parrot. I will try with a bigger parrot.

I got the longest one. I take my bird outside with me every day but it’s really hard to put on with the bird wiggling around so I connected a metal loop to secure the bracelet more permanently (but will come off with pliers) so she wears the bracelet all the time and easily clip onto the loop when it’s time to go outside. She’s worn it for a few weeks straight so far and I put a size that’s barely small enough to not slip off her foot but enough wiggle room it hasn’t irritated her foot at all and acts completely normal with it on. I like the adjustable metal ball. Only reason it lost a star is because it doesn’t dispense very easily so she will only fly as far as the ball is adjusted. I may save this one for the warmer weather when she may want to do more long distance and adjust the ball all the way to longest length and let the entire rope loose and get another shorter one for on the go, I’m assuming the shorter ones have a lighter base. Maybe the shorter ones might not have as strong of a dispensing mechanism and she can actually pull it longer as she flies.

I use it for my cockatiel. She loves it compared to a harness style. It came with different size foot chains. The 2nd smallest fits my tiel pervevtly. He gets to go on field trips and outside without having to clip his wings. I wouldn’t trust anything for ur bird to really “fly “ with without extensive training but to keep them from becoming too adventurous.
