This router (GT-AX6000) is simply awesome. I'm not a gamer, and i got it mainly for my home network (work from home, multiple (25 or so) family devices, XBOX, Smart TVs, 2-floor villa) ..I'm an IT professional - in the past 25+ years, i used almost all router brands and firmware. Asus with RMerlin FW provide the best combination of performance and ease of use - i can easily do things like applying parental control and share network drives with this router that used to take a lot of fiddling with unreliable results in the past (yes, even with DDWRT)this router was an upgrade from an Asus AC-88U and according to my research it's one of the few (if not the only one) with the processing power of 4-core 2MHZ CPU and a 1Gb RAM - i'm now able to utilize my full WAN bandwidth (even with parental control applied - the AC-88U used to cut the speed in half in this scenario), have stronger signal, better area coverage, and got Wifi 6 for the new devices/laptops.Very happy with this router - delivery was fast and setup was super easy. If you're considering this router, just go for it.

Power full router and the fastest net its more better then tplink

Excellent router with wired wifi speeds. The upload speed will be very slow if wan link is connected to 2.5 g wan port with asus firmware. To resolve this either use merlin firmware or enable dual wan and connect wan link to lan port.This should be resolved in future firmwate updates.

It's the best router I've ever had. Simple and easy to setup. Better range than my previous router.

Purchasing two Asus ROG AXE16000 routers, I anticipated premium performance and reliability, reflective of their high cost and the Asus brand's strong market presence. Regrettably, the reality fell short of my expectations, with both routers failing within their first year of use. This was particularly surprising and disappointing, given the reputation and price point of these devices.The subsequent customer service experience added to my frustration. After sending the routers in for repair, I've been left without a resolution for over a month and a half. The prolonged wait, coupled with a lack of clear communication from Asus, has been a significant inconvenience, affecting my reliance on a dependable internet connection for both personal and professional needs.I chose these routers for their supposed cutting-edge performance and Asus's acclaim in the technology sector. However, the premature product failures and the less-than-satisfactory service response have led me to question the value and reliability of Asus's high-end offerings.This ordeal has been a cautionary tale for me, and I share this review to inform potential buyers about the possible challenges with product durability and customer support when investing in expensive tech solutions from Asus.

Very capable router that maxes out my internet and server streams, but I just can’t get any of my wifi 6 able devices to latch on a wifi 6 connection.

Provides superb Wi-Fi coverage in my apartment. No issues with fan noise as router is kept in well ventilated area and fan speed is set to ‘auto’.

Awesome router. Completely changed how I connect to the internet. And I love Asus mesh networks and how easy it is to setup and monitor from your phone.
