DO NOT BUY, Difficult for 2nd and 3rd shifters
DO NOT BUY, Difficult for 2nd and 3rd shiftersI purchased the NGTeco Time Clock, have used it for 2-3 months now, and have spent 2-3 hours on the phone every payroll to fix issues. Each payroll, they try to fix it again, only to call back the next payroll. We are a small office of 12 people who work around the clock. Our employees may work 1st shift one week, 2nd the next: this is a major issue. If someone must fill in on an unexpected shift, it screws everything up. If you have employees who work outside of a standard 8–5, expect problems.Times are exported to Excel, and you must make major changes each time to fix the report; these changes have to be repeated each time it exports the time sheet. You must fix the layout and the type of file otherwise you won’t be able to use simple functions like adding the total hours in the excel spreadsheet (sum). The original file that is exported can not be used in its original form, changing this each time is time consuming and frustrating.Also, when we purchased it stated it would automatically send out the payroll report, which was one of the reasons I purchased this one, but they have since taken that off the website because it doesn’t work. The app on the phone is horrible; another reason I purchased it, but it is very difficult to use. I would not recommend it! I thought set-up was difficult, but that was just the beginning of the issues. Beware; you only have 30 days to return this. I asked for a refund after using it for three payrolls (6 weeks) and was denied.Service is not exceptional; every time you speak with someone that can be hard to understand, they don’t actually show you how to fix things; they just ask for control of your computer using AnyDesk and then just go to work fixing things. Unless you watch them closely, you will never learn how to fix the issue yourself. You will just have to call them continually. Every time they seem to do the exact same thing to make it work for that day, only to have problems next pay period and go through the exact same hassle.Also you can not change any clock ins, or delete any, you can only add missed ones.The only good thing about this device is that the RFID and fingerprint scanner have worked well the first 6 weeks.

Does not work correctly and they keep changing the software. DO NOT BUY
From the first minute that we tried to use this unit it has been terrible. The software is not easy to use. We've had to call several times to have them fix something only to find out that they changed the software and it changed our settings. It use to show when someone punched in and punched out every time each day. Now we have either get only first and last punch of the day or we get only even and odd punches which doesn't make any sense what so ever. Simple. Do not buy this. The software is not ready for people to use. We have been so frustrated with this but now we can't return it.
