I was suspicious because although it is CE marked it has no other conformance marking such as BSI. The earth pin is not connected at all. This is a very serious safety issue and the product should not be sold in the United Kingdom. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Buy it! *by A***A on 4 August 2018* Truth be told, this is my first non Apple HomeKit smart device. I can't justify the price of the HomeKit smart plugs and so I purchased this as it has a small footprint and integrates with IFTTT.I've been very happy with this after using it for a couple of months. It is reliable, hasn't dropped connection once, and I use it with IFTTT to automate the plug based on geolocation. You can set timers if you like or automate based on sunrise/sunset and use with whatever product you want.Definitely buy this. I was a bit nervous after reading people say they had no earth connection, but as you’ll see from my photo the earth is connected. They were easy to setup I used AP mode. Added the Alexa skill and integrated perfectly. I like how you can name them whatever you want and Alexa takes the command. I named one “the tree” and simply say “Alexa, turn on the tree” and bam the Christmas tree illuminates. The Tuya app is also very good and so responsive.
