This 7.2 quart Dutch Oven is the best single value I've ever gotten from Amazon. The quality is second to none, and the inclusion of extras like an oversized banneton (proofing basket) with liner, a bench knife, plastic scraper, dough whisk and silicone loaf lifter are worth the selling price alone. The USA-written instruction manual ("Starter Book") is clearly written and has great information about care and maintenance. I followed the procedure to clean it and further "season' it with a thin coating of vegetable oil. This made it non-stick even during its first use. Great for making sourdough or any oversized loaf - - or bake two boules at once. This is a heavy, oversized pan. Heat distribution in the oven is excellent - - my levain loaf came out completely and evenly cooked. This should last a lifetime or longer! The included tools are not the fanciest but are quite functional. Again, the price is outrageously fair and quite a bargain.

I'm just starting to make my own sour dough and this kitty has been awesome! It has everything I needed to make my bread dough once my starter was ready. It's super easy to clean, the cat iron is amazing and cooks my bread evenly. I haven't cooked anything else in it, but I probably will. The rest of the kit is super handy too. It made making my dough super easy. I think this is a great option!

Very well made and comes with many extras (though no sling as noted by others - this can cause confusion as it is designated in the owners manual. I use parchment paper). Note: in initial heating cycle I recommend leaving top separate from base as the lid to base seal is very good and burn-off fumes will get trapped. This can be pretty stinky. Works well for small to medium large size loaves. Very worth while purchase if you are into baking bread. BTW- can also possibly be used for oven cooking and brazing as base is about 2-3/4' deep. UPDATE: I do not recommend following the recipes in the owner's manual. I have tried the raisin bread recipe 3 times and it never comes out. Liquid to dry ingredient ration results in too dry a dough. I will not rise properly.

I tried this CRUSTLOVE sourdough kit and ended up returning it, but overall it seems like a well-made and complete set. The kit includes everything you need to get started, and the tools feel sturdy and good quality. The banneton basket in particular looks nice and would be useful for shaping dough. It’s a great option for beginners who want an all-in-one kit without buying items separately. However, it wasn’t exactly what I was looking for, which is why I decided to return it. Overall, the quality and presentation are good, and it could work really well depending on your needs.

I bought the 7.2 qt bread pan. The packaging is incredible. Its similar to the Apple experience, only heavier. I cannot believe it was $70. The Pan/Dutch oven is substantial and heavy. The initial quality is impressive. It does not feel inferior in any way. I would say that the handles are going to one day be the weak spot - they are cast iron as well and just a little thin (Maybe). But for $70 it is an absolute bargain. I will be looking at other CrustLove products for sure. Bread tonight.

Great buy hasn’t rusted and use it all the time easy to clean heat distribution is prefect lid is a bit weird because it doesn’t have a nob on the top so it makes it a little hard to take off sometimes but over all it’s easy to use and would buy more
