This is so cool! I wish I had this as a kid. There are 24 different experiments. Most have a hands-on time of 15 minutes or less. Some have a 1-48 hour wait window (for forming gel, growing crystals, etc). The instruction booklet mentions what items are included, what items you'll need from around your house, directions for completing each activity, and an explanation for what is happening scientifically. I think this would be great to do with kids from 4+. My kiddo always have questions and wonder about science and this is the perfect for him. New experiments daily and giving him explanation which is great. Hands-on fun throughout the holiday season. It comes with all the materials that you need each day and clear instructions and explanation to the lab. My kiddo is 10 years old and he can complete the task on his own without adult help which is great news for parents. It was nicely packaged and its totally giftable. Highly recommending this to friends and family who have kids that like science. Good for its value.

Since it isn’t Christmas this hasn’t been opened yet. It looks very high end. Not a lot of instructions on the box. Should be a great way to keep the kids occupied (with supervision) to keep them off the electronics. Give them a different use of their brains other than tv and video games. Should be fun for them too.

The Instructions are easy to read/understand. I don’t plan on doing any of the experiments until December so I’ll up date if needed. Other than that, I’m really excited for this one.

This was for a little girl about 9 years old and she was ecstatic about it. It looks like some interesting projects to entertain both her and her parents.

This calendar is so much fun. Allows of daily doses of science. It's so interactive. Everything you need is provided for the most part. Exciting and educational!

Haven’t had the chance to use it yet as it’s for December but looks good from the outside. Looking forward to lots of fun experiments leading up to Christmas! Fun for all and much better than staring at a screen.

I love advent calendars, the count down, the excitement. Why not learn something while still connecting with the holiday spirit? While not every experiment was hit, the bulk are engaging and fun. Bonus for it being almost all inclusive. You know you pick it up, this is one heavy box. Learn something and maybe spark a STEM connection. No complaints
