Great Cheese Making Book
Very simple and easy to follow instructions. Definitely good value for money and great for your first cheeses. I'm now moving on to more complex aged cheeses, but will still use these recipes for mozzarella, halloumi and other fresh cheeses.

The best beginner's guide I've come across
I've read a number of cheese-making guides and the quality is variable, so I wasn't sure what to expect with this - but am very pleasantly surprised. Informative, helpful and user-friendly, with brilliant recipes. One tiny improvement is I'd like to have seen a recipe for Shropshire blue, but that's just me. Overall though, this is probably the best beginner's guide to home cheese-making that I've come across.

Well laid out recipes, clear instructions
Nice little handbook, well laid out as well. Sadly, the misuse of some words and other typos makes it excruciating to read. One example throughout being the reference ‘to scold’, when it should read ‘to scald’. Otherwise, as I said, a nice little handbook with lots of well laid out recipes, which I’m looking forward to trying.
